10-15k is sufficient as a starting point for petty traders. The fact is that many of them can't raise the sum at once on their own. As they gain credibility by paying back, they have a chance of taking bigger loans to build their businesses. It's a good initiative. If well managed over time, it will gradually impact positively on the growth of the economy.
