the difficulty is not arguable in anyway sir. Marcelo's cross was low and behind him.

When Bale hit that bicycle kick, he was sort of walking the opposite direction as the cross by Marcelo was behind him. So to quickly reach the right spot and hit a ball that was dropping so fast is extremely difficult. He reacted extremely fast and atlethic to even touch that ball. The fact that it was a low spinning cross that looked out of reach makes it more impressive.
