According to reports, many people were killed earlier today at the All Progressives Congress (APC) rally today in Port-Harcourt, Rivers state.

It was gathered that the victims were killed in a stampede at the APC campaign at the Amiesimaka Stadium.

The Stampede reportedly happened after president Muhammadu Buhari left the stadium.

Scores of persons sustained various degrees of injuries and have been evacuated to hospital for treatment.

A witness account said that the victims were trapped at the exit gate of Adoki Amasiemeka Stardium as they tried to walk out of the Stadium.

President Muhammadu Buhari took his re-election campaign on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to Rivers State earlier today. The President sought the support of the people of the state in the coming elections.

APC came to my south south and 10 people died, PDP pulled the largest crowd in Nigeria since 1995 and no one died..

This is unfortunate. Result of unemployment. If this victims were gainfully employed, they won't have the time to be there. RIP to the dead.

I will keep on asking, how many barrels of blood are they looking for, before Saturday poll. Nobody seems to answer my question since two weeks now.
