I like when people who really know about situations on ground in a particular state talk about it not one who will sit in Ajegunle in Lagos and talk Kano politics.

2007 was heavily compromised, but Yar'Adua would still have won if it was free and fair, the same way Jonathan won in 2011. The voting pattern of 2011 was similar to that of 2007.

Buhari would still win in the NE and NW but the margin of win won't be as much as it was in 2015. Jonathan got only about 5% of Kano votes. Atiku would get much more than that, even though he may not win Kano. Same for other states in the NE and NW.

Bro leave them, Buhari won kanu in 2011 even when kwakwanso was in pdp. He has been winning in kano despite not having a sitting governor' s backing (2003, 2007, 2011).

The camp of All Progressives Congress, APC will soon witness another Gale of defections with the imminent defection of four serving Commissioners under the incumbent Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP ), led Sokoto State Government, according to the Chairman of the Northern Senators, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko.

This is contained in a statement signed by his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Bashir Rabe Mani and issued to newsmen in Sokoto.

The statement disclosed that, Senator Wamakko who represents Sokoto North Senatorial District spoke when he commissioned the party’s campaign office at the Unguwar Filin ‘Yan Shanu, Sarkin Adar Ward, In Sokoto North Local Government of the state.

According to Senator Wamakko, the names of the potential APC new entrants would soon be unveiled to the people of the state.
