A huge snake terrorizing residents of Kirikiri area in Lagos state, has been finally killed.

It was gathered that the reptile has been a problem for the residents of Kirikiri lighter terminal especially at night, as efforts were made consistently to kill it - all to no avail.

Some youths in the area mobilized themselves after the snake was spotted by one of them.

The snake was finally killed after much efforts by the young men as they rejoiced and said they are now free to walk without fear at night.

Nigerians with their destroy mentality. When you destroy the natural habitat of these animals, you don't expect them to be happy na. The snake became a threat because they threathen it first. Animals respect humans alot provides you reciprocate.

It's a location close to the Port. It had a prison just like Ikoyi and others.

Snakes just like every other animals won't disturb you provided you don't disturb them. They respect humans alot just make sure you do same. The only reason they might be dangerous is if they sense that you are a threat. So change your thinking
