If I talk now, some riff raff will jump into my mention like a prostitute jumping at the sight of a prospective client.

After seeing the sad pictures and you still thumbprint for the evil party called APC, may God compensate you with madness.

Atikulooter owns the largest number of cattle in the North and employs herdsmen to patrols them around. No wonder he had often blamed the farmers of erasing old grazing route. I won't be surprised if he's the one paying these herdsmen millitants to carry out the attacks.

How can you put the security of 36 states on one man? What are the governor's doing with security votes. States don't then need a governor if security of the country is solely dependent on the president.
With all due respect,You sound very ignorant about governance in Nigeria. Pardon me, but who is incharge of the police and armed forces ? The governors? If he orders that the perpetrators be brought to book, that will dissuade others from repeating the act, but no he says nothing and acts unperturbed. No problem, shebi Borno state governors convoy was attacked a few days ago by Boko Haram, e go soon reach them at the top

Is state security not constitutionally the responsibility of the governor? Oh! Security votes are for construction? He oversees I can say but the state governors are more closer and enlightened with what's actually going on ground but choose to neglect and point fingers to the president.

Take Port Harcourt and Lagos for example. Is the federal that baiks them out of their security challenges? The state funds their federal police and get work done.

The case of Baddo in Ikorodu and kidnappers brought down in Port Harcourt are good examples. How can you be pointing to the president firstly when you have a sitting Governor that's has every power and support required to tackle security challenges.

Let me refer you to Aba some years back when security was hell, didn't the state governors support vigilante groups to tackle measures? Did it not make little impact.

It's not right to ignore the governor's and firstly point fingers at the president.

You are right, the governors have very important roles to play. Having acknowledged that fact, this context is very different. I’m from port harcourt so I know about the security challenges there first hand. I work with an international NGO and last September, we were in Taraba state to carry out an assessment on the IDPs displaced from Lau LGA where Fulani herdsmen had wrecked havoc and we had the privilege of interacting with the governor of the state. He said his hands were tied because the matter is very delicate and it depends on how Abuja wants to tackle it, and and as for him he could not give any direct order to security forces. So you see, this case is very different. Meanwhile, shettima of Borno and Gaidam of yobe get 1billion monthly in security votes but recently he was in Abuja crying for the president to come and save them from Boko Haram. There are issues, and there are issues

When a state governor tells you that, He is highly incompetent. His hands are tied with what? But he could receive security votes. What support has he giving the state police. What impact has he made that has failed. States are buying fleets of cars to support their Federal police so as to tackle security challenges and one tells you his hands are tied. Waiting for order from Abuja grin grin Are you kidding me?

Were you impressed with that line when he said so?

Honestly I was far from impressed with the response he gave. But even if he gives all the support to the police, the policemen receive orders from the IGP, who in turn receives orders from the commander-in-chief. So if oga says stand down,or release those arrested, so will they. You know how Nigeria works my brother

Is that the Holy Book in the hand of that man? Where is the God of that book? Where has he been all these donkey years of Fulani invasion and systematic take over of the Jos Plateau and by extension, the Middle Belt. Besides, these Jos tribes are jokers who will continue to be slaughtered like sacrificial lambs. The first law of the jungle is survival. If you cannot defend your existence, you'll be wiped out and your land possessed by your invaders.
