The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has postponed the General election earlier scheduled for Saturday, February 16th, 2019. Earlier, Rotimi Oyekanmi, the chief press secretary to INEC’s chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu, had informed newsmen that the commission had taken a decision after the crucial meeting attended by the chairman and 12 national commissioners. According to him, “A decision has been taken, but you’d have to hear from the horse’s mouth.” Related |

two things are involved; 1. Elections will hold in different States on different days and result will be announced in trenches like Osun state... 2. Elections will be postponed until INEC can hold elections simultaneously across the country. I will go for No 2 to avoid crisis... but what abt States and local government already with materials? this INEC chairman and his team are obviously the worst. 1 Like |
