All Ure accusations and statements on Obasanjo is true and sadly so. I also shared same perception even tho I have always admire baba for his brilliance and leadership skills. However I’ve have come to understand that for every event there are 3 sides of more. Ur side, his side and the Truth.

I largely believe Ure analogy on Obasanjo introduction of Ghana must go majorly to the senate and so on bt i never understood his reasons especially when he Obasanjo later on after he left power accused the same senate as The most corrupt arm of government.


Going tru excerpts of his book I realized Obasanjo while in government fought many battles we the unsuspecting public did not understand fully even tho we saw the scattering dust of the power tussle btwn him and his Vp Atiku who was more wealthy and probably influential than he Obasanjo to certain extents. From his book I observed a serious power play that involved creating allies and removing perceived enemies to political oblivion.

Looking at this from a 3rd perspective I cud see why he Obasanjo had to introduce so many Ghana must go just to keep Atiku in check and sustain control of his government. Obasanjo had many sleepless nights during his tenure. Many people do not understand the intricacies and dept of his struggle and rift with Atiku while he was the president.

Bottom line it was wrong for a Vp to try to unseat his boss. Gladly Atiku has learnt that hard lesson and is better for it.

The rumors has it that it's OBJ that prevailed on INEC chairman to stall the elections because he has seen that despite thier all-round work to expunge PMB's interest from the heart of ppl, ppl are just growing up of love of him and would do anything to make sure that PMB lost the re-election.

It was rumoured that obj and some other desperate statesmen prevailed upon chairman to find ways of delaying the election, this they hope will frustrate commoners who are in majority to voluntarily boycott this elections.
