Sabastine Okoh, an House of Representative candidate from APC representing Ika Federal Constituency, narrowly escapes death.

The peace maker (Saba Na Baba) as his supporters call him was nearly assasinated following a shoot out at his house in the early hours of this morning by some unknown gun men.

Election Postponement: Assassins visits Sabastine Okoh

Umunede a town in Ika North East L.G.A of Delta state today experienced its first political protest in history.

Sabastine Okoh, an House of Representative candidate from APC representing Ika Federal Constituency, narrowly escapes death.

The peace maker (Saba Na Baba) as his supporters call him was nearly assasinated following a shoot out at his house in the early hours of this morning by some unknown gun men.

His supporters (APC) took it out so hot on the opposition party members at the dawn of the day, by destroying party members and visiting the known party members in the town.

It took the help of some soldiers and interpol officers to calm the situation down. Finally, the Man of the people ( Saba) came up to address the youth and the umunede community, that he is alive and that peace should reign rather than war.

Just as he said it, that calmed down majority of the die hard supporters who now went to their various homes.

Sabastine Okoh is APC contending against the incumbent PDP member Nwokolo

This assassination attempt looks staged. Any news or update? Where are the suspects? Where they caught? Who did they confess sent them? Will they be released and compensated after confessing to someone sending them? I need answers
