Sometimes I laugh at all these corpers who blame inec bla!bla!bla! The truth is that u weren't forced to become an inec official and things didn't turn out the positive side. Most of us on this platform are ex corpers and trust me we had harsh treatment and even more in camp. I feel no sympathy for those pictures posted of corpers sleeping in buses or on the floor cause u signed for it ...inec no force you oh
Its a matter of choice. Its voluntary, if Inec say dem no want use corpers now, them go begin to protest say dem deny them dia rights. All the people wey do inec work lobby for am so nobody force anybody do inec work.

what are you saying?, so because we volunteered, then we should be treated like trash?, are you alright at all?.
INEC said they needed corp members to volunteer, in exchange for a stipend, we volunteered and even used our own resources to go for training and all, now we expect INEC to hold up on their own side of the bargain. It is simple.

The only thing that INEC can do to appease us for the unfavorable situation we experienced is to increase our Electioneering allowance and pay us our outstanding Training Allowance. We were promised that we would be paid before the election, only to be abandoned at our RAC centres without any form of security. It is on this note we have decided to inform INEC, NYSC and the entire public that Corps members are deeply aggrieved and we need our renumeration for every physical and psychological stress we have been put through.
Gentlemen Corps members, share this broadcast on all social media platforms until the DG NYSC sees this.

Hundreds of ad-hoc staff posted to Ushongo local government area of Benue on Saturday morning staged a protest to demand the payment of their transport allowance by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

Our correspondent gathered that the ad-hoc staff had besieged INEC’s office in the town as early as 8 am demanding that they be given transport fare as well as other allowances as promised them by the commission.

They lamented that most of them had to sleep in the open and some in the buses throughout the night.

Trouble however, started when their demand was not being attended to causing them to protest.

Eyewitnesses who do not want to be named said the ad-hoc staff took to the streets, blocked the entrance to the INEC office and were preparing grounds to start burning used car tyres before the security Joint Task Force arrived the scene to calm the tension.

Some of the affected ad-hoc staff who spoke on the condition of anonymity expressed disappointment in the whole process and urged INEC to make better arrangements for them before next Saturday’s elections.

Postponement: Ad-hoc Staff Protest Non Payment of Allowance In Benue

A staff of INEC who wanted to remain anonymous said they did not refuse to pay them but had asked the ad-hoc staff to show their identity cards.

At the tme of filing this report, normalcy had been restored as the INEC officials had commenced payment of their allowances.

see, you shouldn't have disturbed yourself volunteering. When I was serving I don't take part in all this nonsense.

2 corps members working for INEC were killed in akwa ibom on friday night, have you heard anything about them? Stay safe.

For what naa? Which advance? are they permanent staff? Would they be employed for months? Haba transport allowance only - see all the questions you are positing when you add those allowances together, they form the election allowance given to them, after the elections - Abi una wan yahoo-yahoo nigerians and the govt because they gave you the opportunity to contribute your quota to nation building ni?
If you don't know anything about an issue, it is better to keep quiet and desist from spouting ignorance. INEC protocol for ad-hoc staff include the payment of training, feeding and transport allowances to ad-hoc staff latest a day before the election will take place. INEC has already recieved the cash, however, some states have either refused to pay or have severely downgraded the allowances. That is the issue.
