You are getting things wrong. I never said that I wouldn't help and I never said it's okay not to help. I simply said no one owes anyone anything. Where you come from is not where I come from. Where I come from and in the real world that I know, no one owes you anything and no one is ready to "look" at your face when you are broke, in need and struggling. Unfortunately, you can't arrest them because they don't owe you a damn thing. Depend on people at your own risk.

You are obviously a good person just like myself but many people don't share that characteristic and you will eventually end up burning yourself if you become Mr. Nice Guy to everybody because many are cruel opportunists who can never reciprocate your kindness. People should work hard for their money and not give birth to children that they can't take care of.

Colleagues shouldn't mean a special bond. Two people may hate themselves and still be colleagues. You need to stop being childish. No one owes you anything. Use your money wisely and don't be a Santa Claus because when things are hard, people will vanished and snub/distance themselves from you even those you haved help. No one forces you to give and you should let people work for their money. Even if you are the most handsome and very morally upright, no one really gives a damn about you but your money. Sorry but his colleagues are not his family and don't owe him any thing. Those names you listed are actually struggling men, with their own problems and likely don't have so much to give out.

While young and fit, plan your Life. Invest in health insurance and open a pension account.

If people decide to give you , fine. If they Don't, life goes on.

My brother, do you want to hear the honest advise or you want to hear "what is OK in a perfect world?"

I help my siblings but no help is good enough but the one you give yourself. Why will anyone want to be at the mercy of others? I hate begging as a part of my plan for the future because it puts one in a bad position. People should hussle hard, save and invest for the rainy day, I can't say more than this. I was a victim of this behavior in my growing years, so I learnt the hard way to do things for myself
