Well, this is very unusual. Asylum takes to long that it is currently taking up to two years, but congratulations to you on your unique case!

Yes! I entered USA with visit visa on March 26, 2018. Applied for change of status in July 2018, went for interview at USCIS New Jersey in September 2018, got my letter in the mailbox on 14th January, 2019. Status changed to permanent residence. Prayers worked ��

Please on what basis did you apply for asylum? Homosexuality? war ? Etc

It is very possible he got his approval within the said timeline.From recent findings uscis attend to most new amd recent applications,(Fifo) even for marriage based applications. Also the state he applied in might also be a huge factor to why his asylum application was fast.(There might be few asylum based applications in his states and the USCIS office can process his application within the said time line.you cant compare say Dallas or Houston where green card /asylum applications take like forever because the whole of Nigerians live there and applying for green card at the same time ,which means the USCIS office has bulk applications to process and most times end up with a backlog of applications
And I must confess his laywer is very good and his basis/reason for asylum seeking must be Top notch.congrats once again johnpoko

I met one wonderful lady and we have been going well until she asked that powerful question. She asked that do you eat pvssy? I sd No!. So i lost the lady.

So i met another and i told her I dont drive and she was ready to xome pick up for a date. Then i went to my seniors to ask for orientation and i got all the necessary orientation. So she came, picked me up from church and on our way to our nice place for date, she sd she doesnt know how long it will take but she will like to get some stuffs at the store. So we gisted till we got to store. I quickly called my people to tell me how to behave at the store and asked hope i wont be the one reaponsible for the shopping, they said no. Na so i dey initiate another topic wey i don plan to talk about when we get to our place of date and you need to see me pushing trolley beside her, she boughts some items while i collected them from her and arranged inside the trolley, i dey do like person wey don chop vegetables.. i packed all the stuffs inside 8 nylons, pushed the trolley to her car, offload everything and she sd she will like to drop them off quickly at her apartment. Na so i follow her to her house. I carried all the nylons to her apartment, she was just smiling and said " You are very nice and caring", I smiled and replied " All africans are nice especially Nigerians". So we got to her apartment, i sat down and she started preparing lunch while we started a conversation. I talked and talked and exhausted all the topics i have crammed for that date. Mehn, Americans sabi talk. She told me she dated a Nigerian before and even pronounced his name properly, she pronounced abuja, warri and lagos well and damn, this lady got manners, i guess that nigerian taught her some of our culture. She also told me about one nigerian that lives in lagos that she met on facebook and she has been helping to come over here. immediately i heard that, i knew she has been scammed lol... Well long story short, we had our date in her apartment and it really worth it. We went to a friend's of mine, carrying her bags and all kind of stuffs and she was just smiling. At the end of it all, i chopped a deep kiss for being caring. She is even planning vacation with me, seems like i don hit jackpot lol.

I enjoyed carrying her bags, holding her hands and the shopping stuffs though and i anytime i go back home, na to dey do all of that to my future wife oo. I think it makes love stronger. I only watched them on nigerian movies in Nigeria but in America, I practicalised it.

Life is good in America, if you wan cross road, car go dey wait for u make u cross, You dont need to run, try that for naija, na OYO u dey but this people are full of fake smiles though. Whoever tells u not to come here na enemy of progress.

In my own opinion, Visa success is more or less a lottery, Nice people with nice profile getting rejected while people with "packages" get approved. I met a guy last month and I was wondering how he got his Visa(Very local), God forgive me but i feel for people burning money just to get this US Visa.

I experienced America when I actually visited Chicago on 4th of July. I was living in a village(City)in Ohio and I can say we are just 10 Nigerians(Africans) there. All we do is go to store(Kroger), come back home. Our highest "Faaji" was Bowl of ice cream, fried Gizzard and Wild Irish Rose. Even the downtown got only 2 high rise building(The courthouse and one other building like that). So me stepping out that greyhound bus that night before 4th of July was crazy. I got into this nice apartment, the streets blasting music etc, went to downtown, I cant just help but stare at all those beautiful magnificent buildings(I walked inside downtown over an hour) just looking and taking pictures. Mehn, I knew i was in real America though 87th and state in south side is like one of this roads in Nigeria where you see people hawking stuffs on the main road.

I feel victim of this my "new car" Its a 2AZ-FE engine that Toyota wanted to fix for excessive oil consumption but my warranty has expired . So Toyota said I should bring $3200 for fixing, I laughed! Car that is going to Nigeria next year Jan.Who wan dash toyota $3,200 on a car that drives good. Just that at 2800miles, it will be telling me low oil. I will just be topping up the oil every 1000 miles. Things are just too expensive when it comes to cars, Very expensive to fix.

The only Big Cities I haven’t visited yet is Los Angeles, California & Las Vegas...

It cost about $1200 for a round trip ticket from New York City to Lagos plus a $35 Trip Insurance...

I’m also traveling to Naija this December & I have already booked my ticket with Expedia...

It cost about $1200 for a round trip ticket from New York City to Lagos plus a $35 Trip Insurance...

Then I’m planning on shipping my car back to Nigeria around November that way it would be in Lagos by December...

Then I have about $3,000 already saved up that I plan on using whenever I’m in Lagos, Nigeria...

Everything is going to cost me about $6,000 just for traveling down to Naija for Christmas...

British airways is the cheapest for now(883$) while its $1300 for my wife. She will join me in nigeria a week after.

To spend Christmas with my family, i will cough out a lot of money on tickets alone. I guess i will only spend new year with them

One of my fear is spending such money in Nigeria only to come back in January to meet bills and start working agressively..

I did my wedding anniversary last year in las vegas. Did booking through expedia(frontier airline was fully booked while going to las Las Vegas and spirit airline while coming back to chicago). Damn, those seats were uncomforable but i fly southwest airlines now, i love their seats..

If i sleep and wake up in residential areas in las vegas, i will think im in a GRA in Nigeria. Their houses are similar to ours. Even for night, heat too much..i cant live in such places.

Ok, I only thought you were the only one traveling to Nigeria...

Since it’s two people is gonna be twice the expenses plus you also have to buy stuffs for your relatives in Nigeria...

Before you travel to Naija just set aside enough money for at least two months worth of expenses that way you don’t have to work aggressively when you return back to the United States...

Since it’s two people is gonna be twice the expenses plus you also have to buy stuffs for your relatives in Nigeria...

Before you travel to Naija just set aside enough money for at least two months worth of expenses that way you don’t have to work aggressively when return back to the United States...

I have never flown Frontier Airlines, Spirit Airlines OR Southwest Airlines...

I have only flown American Airlines, United Airlines, Delta Airlines & JetBlue Airlines...

They’re all good & I have been generally satisfied...
