The solution to the threat is very simple. Respect yourself and desist from snatching ballot boxes, and you should be just fine. Army man is not going to shoot you for casting your vote, which is the right of every Nigerian.

The army man is not supposed to be at the polling unit to start with. Again Army man can very well shoot at you for casting your vote and I can bet my next months salary that the army man is going to shoot at least one or two innocent people this coming Saturday and blame it on ballot snatching.

Not every person criticizing PMB is from opposition. Some are just concerned Nigerians who know better than to primitively support everything a tyrant says.

People who snatch ballot boxes are not gentle folks who go there and politely ask for the ballot boxes. They are usually well armed criminals who are ready to harm electoral officers if their demands are not met.

How do you know they will be innocent? Are you saying that a Nigerian Army officer will shoot someone who casts his vote normally and is walking home, for no reason? Why? Especially in these days when everyone's got a videocam?

You are a good student of history, the very day I was caught between custom and smugglers early morning in Lagos, it was grace that saved passengers from stray bullets. What baffled me most was seeing smugglers faced custom in such shoot out within street of Lagos. Nothing does ballot box snatchers, but I pity people that will be around the scene.

Coming from a man with a Military background, who is still trying to grasp the demands of democracy, i think it was a wrong statement to make, he has ended up instilling fear in the voters, most voters especially here in the south are likely to sit at home especially considering that the Nigerian Army has a penchant for human rights violation
there is a reason why Armed soldiers are not allowed to interfere in the elections talk more of NIgerian soldiers

I am saying that innocent people are going to die without any iota of provocation and the army or NPF or whoever is wielding the gun will blame it on this very order from PMB.
How many people have died extra judicially without doing anything? Not to talk of when they have an express order to shoot at sight ballot snatchers.
