Not sure if elections will hold. I really wish it would.

It will hold. What other alternative is there except the break up of the country.

So are we saying if you work or own a company that prints election materials you are barred from ever contesting in an election? If so, can someone point me to where it is written in the Nigerian Constitution? Contractors, businessmen, lobbyists are all Nigerians and are eligble to contest as long as they qualify.

I listened to inec chairman response when the concern was raised. He said the said aspirant has been handling the PVC contract since 2011, when PDP are in government, and that there is no cause for alarm. Pls let's understand issue b4 making comments. Lots of responses here show stupidity and ignorance

When mazi Nnamdi Kanu told you all in one of his broadcast how some people owned PVC printing machines in their houses, nobody believed him.

Now you all are crying bitterly. Too late.

In 2015 Buhari promised us change. We took him to Aso Rock to take over the steering. He quickly drove us from the best performing economy to poverty capital of the world. We raised alarm from the passengers' seats to press the REVERSE gear. He refused and pressed the NEXT LEVEL gear. With the way he is driving this car recklessly, we might be moving from normal poverty to CHRONIC POVERTY CAPITAL of the world.

But Nigerians love their oppressors. Most nigerians still do; I no longer feel sorry for the suffering masses.

While Buhari is advocating killing ballot box snatchers, he and his henchmen are awarding contracts to print the very materials necessary for our elections.
Buhari's niece is meanwhile enjoying the position of overseeing the results. The election is just laughable.

Who will accepts the out come of this zoo elections result?

Thank God IPOB will not votes. It is my civic right not to vote in Nigeria elections.

Is PVC ballot paper?

Most contractors of INEC are Nigerians who somehow have affiliation with a political parties so its nothing.

If such person are now the one counting the ballot paper at polling unit, I will be worried

INEC under PDP gave him contract to supply PVC printing machine [printers].

INEC under APC gave him contract to print PVCs (in his house or office), and supply same alongside other ballot materials to INEC office.

Spot the difference?

Sometimes I still wonder why all government institutions make life so difficult for people. After waiting for over 6-8 months to get their PVCs, you still gave the people reasons to doubt the authenticity of the whole bureaucratic process. Why can't public & government institutions learn from the private sector?

How long does it take to get ATM cards in this same country? How can ATM cards that take an average of 24 hours to produce (15 minutes in Sterling bank) be more credible than voter cards?

We are not ready to move forward in this country. Why can't we make BVN mandatory for +18 years, let everyone register from the comfort of his/her home (since already we have one BVN per individual) and get our PVCs, even National ID, delivered to the nearest bank?

This automatically erases incidences of multiple voting; dual and multiple voter cards (I know people with 2-3 registered voter cards); fake registrations; card theft and possibly vote buying.

These are effortless processes, but we will never get it right as far as we continue to vote and crown inefficient Herdsmen.

No need snatching ballot boxes, just get the govt to give you contract to print your own.

From INEC
The National Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Mahmood Yakubu, has admitted that the person who supplies the machines used in printing the Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and the PVC itself to the commission, is a candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), for Niger East Senatorial District, Senator Mohammed Musa.

Some people like to blab with out common sense, if he is in charge of printing so what?, ok lets assume he prints an unauthorised card, how is he going to use it considering the fact that a voter has to go through biometric scan, visual id and name crosscheking with the authentic inec list?. Go school una no go go.

As at the time he was given the contract, was he the APC senatorial candidate? After being the senatorial candidate, is he still printing PVCs? If the answer to that question is no, then what is the fuss about? If we argue along these lines, are we saying that after Jega has conducted elections, he should not aspire to political office or be given government contracts? We are too hypicritically sanctimonious in Nigeria.

Would we be quiet if he was a PDP man? Can we prove that the security on the PVCs have been compromised? These kind of contracts should be top secret. To me, it should be handled by the defense intelligence, or NIA or NIMC or Nigerian Security Printing and Minting Company. And even when it is given to a civilian, we should not know about it. This is a security issue.
