The governorship candidate of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) in Kano State, Malam Salihu Sagir Takai, has called on eligible voters across the country to come out en masse and vote during Saturday’s rescheduled presidential and National Assembly elections.

Malam Takai, who made the appeal in a statement issued by his spokesman, Auwalu Mu’azu, said the call became necessary in view of the apparent anger, frustration, shock and surprise expressed by Nigerians over the sudden postponement of the elections by INEC.

He noted that except well-meaning Nigerians across all walks of life rose to the occasion and mobilised voters to participate in the rescheduled polls, the exercise might be marred by voter apathy.

“In the light of the seeming disappointment of Nigerians at the polls shift, it has become necessary for all of us to work assiduously towards making sure that we encourage the electorate to come out in their numbers and take part in the coming rescheduled elections,” Takai said.

In the same vein, Malam Takai drummed support for the re-election bid of President Muhammadu Buhari to enable him to continue with the good work he started for the country.

The fact remains that both Buhari and Atiku are not clean and fit enough to lead this country. The former claiming to be fighting one sided corruption while the latter is coming with his friends to loot again. Nigeria is a great country with wonderful people, our leaders are the one painting us black. We'll surely get it right I believe.

Continue the Good work indeed... A candidate that can't win his constituency is drumming support for Buhari... I feel this multi party system is just a scam, many of the candidates of these parties just use their candidacy to boost their CV and gain cheap popularity...

The three of them above have shown on several occasions their disdain for the South west either in words or actions.

An Igbo boy pointed this to me recently why they will rather die for this election. He thought I was Igbo... lol

Atiku can not perform more than Buhari but South West is about to be relegated for 8 years and beyond if these people get to power.

Before you vote as a Yoruba man, ask yourself what genuine reason do you have to vote against Buhari/Osinbajo? is it economy? Atiku will be worse definitely.
