Again you’re still making the mistake of the Old Dahomey kingdom which is today’s Benin republic as a whole. And yes we ruled all Dahomein territories, but you’re talking about the whole of present day Benin.

Dahomey people in the present day Abomey city are not related with the Yorubas. I’ve been there, I’ve read their history and war with Yoruba. Abomey people will tell you they are not Yoruba but we were conquered.
