APC Rivers State will not Participate in the Election. This is according to what the INEC Chairman said today, 20th February, that Supreme Court has sealed Rivers State APC and they will not Participate in the Election. He also said that the Commission has taken a stand on Rivers Election base on the Judgement of the Supreme court.

He said while answering questions from his Press conference today, that the Supreme court has ruled out APC from contesting election in Rivers State and their will be no APC in the ballot papers except in the Presidential election.

Prof. Mahmood Yakubu said that the Supreme court is the final court and it has given its judgement and their is no other court to go to.

INEC Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu, said the INEC is a law abiding commission and will obey the judgement of the Supreme court to the latest.

Yeye pipu dem! After the judgment of the Supreme Court they were expecting INEC to act on a mere order for a stay of execution by the Court of Appeal? This is why they were barred in the first place, refusal to obey court ruling!
