mycar:Lol Americans and UK don't observe nada. They are anywhere for selfish interests. EU and Canadian observers are more objective. The US in particular always look to either change regimes, incite the populace, put themselves in strategic economic positions, and dictate to nations. Nigeria is a prime target. It doesn't matter who is in charge, APC or PDP. We must never leave a chance or a loophole for Americans to jump into. Our foreign minister has done well to protect Nigerian interest and that is what any minister, either PDP or APC, would do. Don't let us be the enemies of ourselves. |

5thElement:We would gladly give out any useless president. We signifies the "Nigerian people". Your buhari is the last person that Nigerians risk sanctions for with his divisiveness. The guy has divided his own country terribly. Nobody in Yoruba land can stop it if it comes to that. |

spiralwedge:But the Americans have always been here even while the opposition got in power. Why shouldn't they remain observers like they have all these years.? Anyway, you can't stop them. It is just hot air. |

RTSC:You guys have been reporting Buhari to the Hague since 2015. Why hasn't UN sent NATO to evacuate the man from Aso rock. Please tell me you didn't finish primary school because I can't believe anybody who did social studies won't know the basics of civics. |
| Re: Don’t Cross The Line, Onyeama Advises Diplomatic Community by spiralwedge(m): 8:12am On Feb 21, 2019 |
RTSC:Here, you mean their embassies and other diplomatic tinz? Of course. Nobody is stopping them from being observers. Observers don't give command over a sovereign nation and dictate to them... that's beyond their duty. And it isn't diplomacy either. It is undermining the independence and sovereignty of a nation to interfere like the way they were carrying themselves last week. Thank God they were shunned. Ever wondered why Americans themselves are not taking Russian interference in their elections likely? Americans are funny. You don't even know who they are working for. What they want is war so that they can get the oil. Nigerians should please be students of Global politics and not be gullible to their tactics. |

spiralwedge:Observers like the United States give directives especially to countries like Nigeria. They always have. And their directives are always in the interest of the elections. I have never seen any US directive in Nigeria that was detrimental to fair elections. In fact their presence is responsible for the fair elections in the first place, whether you like it or not. The US was around when buhari defeated an incumbent president and won. What is the problem now? Give me one thing the US has done in this election to really undermine your sovereignty? You want them to leave and allow buhari mess up everybody? It won't happen. |

I just went through your post history. A rabid buhari supporter. No wonder. They are always afraid of foreign oversight. Discussion ended. |

These international observers have been doing this throughout all our previous elections never have they been threatened or found wanting. Nigerians/international observers should be telling Apc don’t cross the line. |
| Re: Don’t Cross The Line, Onyeama Advises Diplomatic Community by spiralwedge(m): 8:47am On Feb 21, 2019 |
RTSC:No Sir. No country has the right to give another sovereign country directives even if they are non-threatening. Maybe you missed it the first time, i will say it again, nobody is asking them to leave. Observe, monitor elections... Give your report afterwards and go. That's all Elections observers do. They are not to dictate. There are observers from all over the world. Only the sinister ones are trying to interfere. Observers are neutral... They observe and note down. I think here is where we differ. And will end the convo here. |

adekennis:Intelligent report or unintelligent report, daft report. Why is your government always suspicious of anybody against their evil plan. Are you not ashamed that people are just been killed left, front, back and right and you all seems to be clueless. Are you not aware that the inflation rates has risen MD unemployment is unacceptable by any standard. Are you not ashamed that you people asked the national beaureu if statistics said about unemployment rate and your government asked them to bring it down!? |

spiralwedge:Wrong Sir, Our sovereignty has limitations. The biggest humanitarian supports we have in the North today are from Foreign organization(EU, US and UK). When you need weapon to fight your wars it is this Foreign organization(EU, US and UK) that we run to. When African country bust into civil war, it is this western that intervain. Why do you think our leaders run to the EU, US and UK for Health and Education. |

Dictators are often the first ones to claim they have sovereignty. Sovereignty belong to the people not the dictators illegally ruling those countries and killing the people. Buhari cannot hide from International justice by claiming "sovereignty to do as he likes in Nigeria" if he violates Nigerian or international law.

all election conducted in African nation have been observed by foreign commissions even with people attracted from Nigeria. Jonathan have played a lead roles in that even when the observers didn't show support to the incumbent they still went there to do their job. why are APC against international observers? its very clear for all to see that they want to forced themselves to power.
