The Independent National Electoral Commission has officially declared the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party for Oriade/Obokun Federal constituency in Osun state, Honorable Busayo Oluwole-Oke as the winner of yesterday’s National Assembly election for the constituency.

The returning officer for the constituency, Professor Rasaki Adebayo of the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) Ile-Ife, declared the results after the collation.

Oluwole-Oke got 25,000 votes to defeat the candidate of the All Progressive Congress, Pharmacist Siji Olamiju who got 19,000 votes.

You don't need to be, they will learn.

While other tribes are voting based on interest,
Yorubas are claiming sophistication.

I pray baba wins, they will officially become the new 5%.

Shebi they lack common sense ni, they will learn.

How has the 95%ers fared better than the 5%ers under this government?
The fact is, everybody will be united in suffering if the government is not performing.

Nigeria is the process of dying because of Buhari but Nigeria wasn't in that process when oil was sold for over 100 usd per barrel without the government saving which made Okonjo complain about it and confirmed Nigeria was gonna hit recession with such attitude.

But you want a government to magically do things with 40 usd per barrel. You guys truly deserve your wicked leaders as being slaves and puppets makes you happy

Oil rose to 80 at a point in time. It's around 67 now. Even at that there has being mismanagement and corruption in the oil sector in this Buhari administration so the price is not only the issue. The NNPC and the entire oil industry is as corrupt as it was before

They are seperating Buhari from the rest unlike 2015 election when they just voted in all APC candidates

It was because obasanjo is a Christian against buhari, who is Muslim.

It was a presidential election and not a vice presidential election. And they know too well that the VP post is very ceremonial for as long as the president is active.

My dear zombie, but Yar adua was also Muslim?

The truth is that we've know Buhari since the late 1960s. He is a war monger and an extremist with unpliable clannish views. We were vindicated!

I blame Buhari for what's happening, instead of forcing sense into his APC governors he was forming saint at the center. They really Bleep him up in this election. He will really learn this time if he narrowly escape and not giving any loosing governor any appointment.

The stupid reason is because we Yorubas assume to get 2023 presidency, and that if Atiku enters now, it means another 8 years before we can smell it... Instead, let us gently allow Buhari another 4 years so that our presidency will be closer : that's what a dumb okada man told me.

I will only pray for Nigeria.

Nigeria, you shall know peace.
You shall experience unforetold prosperity.
You shall rise again.

Nigeria, you are blessed beyond a curse.
Many nations shall rise and call you blessed.

Nigerians, congratulations for winning.

The North were able to differenciate between President,Senate and representatives this time around
They are seperating Buhari from the rest unlike 2015 election when they just voted in all APC candidates
The reason is because in
2015 Buhari's slogan in the north was" APC SAK" meaning they should vote APC from top to bottom so long as the person is coming out under APC. Now in 2019 if u followed his campaign you will see that in some states he told people to vote Apc for president and vote whatever party they like in other posts, at a point he said governors who were owing salaries shouldn't be reelected even if they are apc governors..
