A high foundation is always better, more pics on foundation wall.

I may increase the height of the foundation from 1200 to 1500 as that may add to the beauty of the house and will also help in damp control measure.

Sand is 25,000. While ¾ aggregate is 210,000 ( 30tons)

I'm building from afar and just following the progress through pictures so please pardon my multiple questions, I'm learning as much as I can from NL so I can detect any wrongdoing and have it sorted out early or even prevent it.
Instead of having to redo it at a later stage.

I didn't see it included in the bill I was sent so I don't know.

No way, it's not going to work ok, but you can make aluminum jalousie for it , that too is kind of conduit pipping.

1. A reniforced foundation will not crack up or split up the foundation floor.
2. It helps the building stand the test of time (stronger)
3. It's more important to reinforce a high foundation to protect the building from suffering more risk in future.
4. It helps in spreading the load to the entire columns.
5. It also balances the building. Etc

Both carcass and finishing , the wall is during carcass while the aluminum fixture is during finishing.

Filling ... On going we are looking at 30-32 trips of laterite for the filling. The foundation height is about 2200m

The filling process... But we have to back filling the external Walls first.

We have to close up all internal block holes.

Rounding off the filling, 34 trips of laterlite gone hoping to bring in 8 more trips.

Sinking the foundation back fill with water will balance up the settlement of the laterlite just to avoid any vacuum in the foundation.

The size of this building is much the least room in the duplex is about14feet.x14feet with double stairwell.

The actual length is 29625m, width 18100m. It's massive but attractive. HEJITECH GROUP made a nice drawing here

However we must continue... In few days we will sum the total both material cost and cash used from excavation to DPC of this project. Thanks

MARINE BOARD VS PLANK

Marine board is 4ft by 8ft and is sold #8,000 meaning that to split up one sheet by 1foot will give 4 pcs of 1foot by 8ft length. That makes the splited 4pcs cost 2,000 per one.

That calculation seem cheaper since the usage will last much longer than how long one will ever use a plank in a construction site weather sound or regular plank.

Apart from being cheaper the nice looks the concrete cast appears when you use Marine board for boarding makes it the best.

However, it's advisable to frame it up with just 2pcs of 2x2x12 purlin for effectiveness and longer last.
