FORMER ENUGU GOVERNOR, CHIMAROKE NNAMANI WINS SENATE SEAT Former Enugu State Governor, Dr. Chimaroke Nnamani has been declared the winner of Enugu East senatorial election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Announcing the results at about 9.16 am today, the returning officer Prof. Aloysious Okorie stated that Nnamani polled 128,843 votes to defeat his closest rival, Prince Lawrence Ezeh of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who polled 14,225 votes. 2 Likes

It seems this time around we don't need a combination of SS/SE bloc votes to neutralize NW. The votes from Enugu, Anambra and Ebonyi are scary.
