Your analysis does not make sense to me. The result announced is not the people's wish. It is manipulated results. Nigerians don't want Buhari but the people in power are forcing him on us. They sent Delegates to the final collating centres many of which PDP were denied access. Buhari is not and can never be the people's wish. We did not suffer under PDP the way we did under Buhari.

Buhari brought untold suffering first by the increase of Petroleum products prices. He gave subsidy removal as one of the reasons but the subsidy is yet to disappear.

This in turn changed prices of food items overnight. Naira was further devalued. Please, stop talking about the short comings of the PDP government. The APC has done virtually nothing but to kill her people with hunger, suicide and herdsmen who he has refused to declare as terrorists. I am upset that we have Nigerians like you who can't think straight. But I know their plans will backfire. God will remove him in strange ways. We have prayed enough. The military did not allow us to vote in Riverstate. And I am sure they did the same in many states they knew PDP are likely to win.

Then he should have developed a better strategy in the last four years rather than just going back home after 2015 election to drink wine and resurface again for another election. This was a “try your luck mission” that PDP made him think was going to work but it seems to be failing now

The legal team of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has summoned an emergency meeting for Tuesday, TheCable understands.

Coming on the heels of the rejection of the presidential election result by the main opposition party, the meeting is expected to discuss the next line of action.

The notice of meeting was sent by Kabir Turaki, former minister of special duties who unsuccessfully sought the presidential ticket of the PDP for the 2019 election.

The meeting, which will hold at the Legacy House, Abuja, is expected to start at 4pm.

Turaki, a senior advocate, told invitees to “appear in person” as there will be “no representation please”.

“The legal works are about to begin,” a senior PDP official told TheCable.

The outcomes of all the previous elections, bar 2015, were challenged in court, although Olu Falae withdrew his case against President Olusegun Obasanjo in 1999 after the intervention of prominent Nigerians.

President Buhari challenged all the previous elections he lost — in 2003, 2007 and 2011.

In 2015, President Goodluck Jonathan took the unprecedented step of conceding while the final result was yet to be announced.
