Christians are one of the most stupid set of people on earth. A Christian will take decisions that even pagans will not take. Christians forget about their faith when important things like voting and election is taking place. They forget that their decision will affect the gospel which will invariably fall on them in time to come. Christians always carry that "I don't care attitude" in everything they do and everywhere they go that's why the ones that are most hit are the same Christians. Christians will prefer to pray than to vote so that angels will come from heaven to do their job. Whether you have a bad govt or not most of these churches would succeed in whatever they put focus on. When the likes of Oyedepo, Oyakhilome, Adeyemi tell you to vote sensibly they aren't doing it because they would go hungry if you vote in useless islamist leaders but they are mostly concerned about the effects on the gospel and the society.

It takes little for an Oyedepo to warm his way around a Buhari and he and his church will have no issues whatsoever. Buhari may detest the Christian gospel but his persecution will not start with the "big men" of christianedom but with that missionary on the streets of zamfara, that little gospel ministry trying to procure a parcel of land in Yobe, the christian sister forced to wear hijab or marry an emir.

The FRCN led attacks on churches quashed by Buhari proved that Nigerian islamist politicians are afraid of big pastors with a good international ministry profile. The oyedepos, oyakhilomes have friends in high places(foreign govts, judiciary, legislature and security systems) that will help them escape any persecution or whisk them out of this country at moments notice. But when you the poor masses are systematically rigged out of jobs because of religious and ethnic affiliations, when your farms are ravaged and your wives defiled, your children taken hostages who would be your voice?

The church does not have military to guard your lives or properties when an evil govt comes hard on your lives. It only has prayers and the capacity to vote. I hope y'all voted well in this elections.....

You don't need to go emotional about my comment, which sane country has 10 churches in one street? It's only us that will be preaching in public buses? It's us that will preach on the streets and even travel abroad to continue that madness? Religion makes you physically, mentally and psychologically lazy

First of all am a Christian and i dont consider a Religion but a way of life, its a strict spiritual experience, Christianity tells you how to live the right way and gives you the necessary spiritual empowerment to do so.

But back to the fundamental issues of out people, well Religion might play a part because religious breeds hypocrisy and self righteousness, but Christianity is all other things, Christianity has changed billions of life positively

But like i said, an average Nigerian is greedy, self centred and corrupt and only thinks about himself alone, now thats d problem.
