Is It True The Forbidden Fruit In The Garden Was Sex?

You may have also heard the claims being made by some so-called Christians that the forbidden fruit in the garden was sex, and that Eve had sex with the serpent, also that Cain was the seed of the serpent.

As weird and irritating as that idea sounds, could they be right?

The best way to find out is to go back to the beginning to see what the Bible says about that.

Genesis 2:9 (KJV)

And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

So first of all, it was made perfectly clear that the trees God planted in the garden were not in the figurative but literal sense just as we see them up to this very day.

Trees that produce edible fruits which could serve as food to man.

God planted different kinds of such trees which produce edible fruits in the garden, among which was the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Genesis 2:15-17 (KJV)

And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

So it was after God had planted those trees which produce fruits that could serve as food to man in the garden, that He gave man the right to eat of the fruits of every one of them, except for the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

That's actually where the term "forbidden fruit" stemmed from.

It was because God had forbidden man from eating of the edible fruit produced by that particular tree out of all the trees He had planted in that garden.

So where could they have possibly gotten the idea that the forbidden fruit was sex?

According to the Bible so far, we can all see it definitely wasn't from God.

God bless.

But could it have come from the serpent's conversation with the woman?

Let's go there next to find out.

Genesis 3:1-3 (KJV)

Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

However even from the conversation that ensued between the serpent and the woman, you can clearly see that the forbidden fruit had nothing to do with sex, but about the edible fruit (food) produced by the tree of knowledge of good and evil that God had commanded them not to eat of.

One of things that even made the woman to be deceived according to the Bible, was because the fruit produced by the tree which God commanded them not to eat of was "good for food".

Genesis 3:6 (KJV)

And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

That's why she plucked and ate the fruit produced by the tree which God commanded them not to eat of, and also gave some of the same fruit to her husband to eat.

It was because the forbidden fruit was also "good for food".

So how did the forbidden fruit suddenly turn from food into sex?

Perhaps there's something they're not telling us.

God bless.

Moreover, if the forbidden fruit was sex as they claim, it would mean sex was forbidden in the garden.

But could they be right this time?

Let's also find out what the Bible says about that.

Genesis 1:27-28 (KJV)

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

So as we can all see from the above passage, sex was never forbidden by God and was never even a fruit in the first place, for it to possibly become the forbidden fruit.

God Himself gave man and woman the authorization to have sex and therefore procreate their kind upon the Earth in the beginning according to the Bible.

So how on the same earth did sex which wasn't forbidden in the garden automatically become the forbidden fruit according to these so-called Christians?

Only them would know because as we've all seen, that idea certainly didn't come from God or the Bible.

God bless.

I remember the first time I ever heard such a thing.

Although it was almost 2 decades ago, but once I heard it, I instantly knew it was emanated from the pit of hell.

It wasn't surprising that it came from a marine agent, that had tried to seduce my friend by all means to no avail.

Although I could instantly discern myself that it was demonic, I was still very concerned because right there and then I knew it was an idea Satan intended to plant into the church, that's if he hadn't done so already.

Hence why i'm not surprised that several so-called Christians have fallen for this demonic lie despite how glaring it is that is not Biblical and has nothing to do with God.

May God deliver us from the tares and lies that the devil has planted in the church. In Jesus name!

God bless.

Probably sex, so many figure of speech to explain situation in the bible, but very unfortunately people are interpreting them, literally.
Eating FORBIDDEN FRUIT is a EUPHEMISM in figure of speech.

yes

Eve's pussy was hanging in the tree, and she have been urinating with her nostril all along

so the snake came to Eve and said let me put my tail in your hanging pussy and make you orgasm after Eve tried the snake's dick he also now proceeded to corrupt Adam by also trying out Adam's short dick

Whereas earlier god already told them to be fruitful and multiply, what god meant was that they should be planting themselves in the soil to multiply and not have sex

also, the bible said their eyes opened after eating the fruit of good and bad, which means they didn't even know what they were doing was bad

Mythologies didn't actually happen so can be symbolic or anything and can be changed. If it were true event, then we can research and try to find out how exactly it did happen. But things like this that came out of some people's imagination can be anything today and another tomorrow - so why bother about it?

The Bible went further to say, the Lord placed a sword of fire around the garden to prevent man from going back to eat the tree of life. So it not sex.

We don't have the original Torah scrolls since the destruction of the first Temple in Jerusalem so the story of the garden of Eden we have today is not the original story.

It is not sex.

It was man's ability to choose and decide.

Remember that the whole story is about submission to the Will of God, which is why reference was made to "do not eat of the tree".

It is like people living in a place with rules. If you cannot submit to the rules, you are punished or expelled.

The forbidden fruit was not sex and can't be sex.

If sex then with what God says man should multiply?

Genesis 1:28 NKJV – Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it…” The first thing God asked us to do was multiply
