If there's one thing I have learnt about this election, one thing I'll never forget in my old age, one thing I'll never forget even if Nigeria comes down to her knees. Is this! The north knows how to support their own. Either through hook or crook, either through under age voting, mass thumb printing, animals coming to vote or anything you think of, the north are masters of the game. Bring in your 200 thousand votes and they will bring forth their 2 million votes. Scratch your head and bring in your 1 million votes and the north brings in her 4 million votes. Can you beat that? Stick to your Inec regulations and disenfranchise your people under the name of card reader, the north don't do such holla balo, they just dump the much wahala card readers somewhere and do their mass thumb printing. After all vote na vote. Isn't it? To progress into the digital age is not by force? Abi them tell you say them hate their current condition? Whether bandits kills them in large numbers or not is not your business? Whether Boko Haram destroy their lands or not is not your worry? Whether meningitis, cholera or polio ravages them in their region isn't your wahala? So why pokenose into their matter. Why? The middlebelt too have similar mindset as the core north surprisingly. How on earth Buhari cleared this region leaves much taste in the mouth. At the last count, Buhari is sweeping Kwara, Nassarawa, Niger, Kogi and neck in neck with Atiku in Benue and Plateau. Abuja delivered for Atiku and you could guess that many non-middlebelters made it possible. Are we to believe that the fulani herdsmen and cattle colony crisis was faux? Did the media blow it out of proportion or what? Is Buhari really the hero of these people or what? Well, we wouldn't know for now, only time shall tell. But all in all the election will go down in history as the most one sided election? Atiku and PDP have no one but themselves to blame. How on earth do you expect to win an election as diverse as ours and lose woefully in your own backyard? What stops Atiku from matching Buhari, wit for wit, rig for rig and illegality for illegality in the north to emerge victorious. This he failed to do and was hoping on the SE/SS to do what exactly. I hope he learns the bitter lesson that you don't engage a man holding a cutlass in a boxing match. Beat him in his own game and when you emerge victorious curtail the illegality by signing the electoral bill into law. That way you'll save Nigeria's democracy from future tyrants. Something Goodluck Jonathan failed to do. However, I appreciate the SE Igbos for their electioneering. It appears we've learnt some lessons from our one-basket political disposition in 2015. Igbos and their leadership did well. Much oil to the elbows of Orji Uzor Kalu, Rochas Okorocha, Ken Nnamani, Umahi and others. Whether they rigged or not for APC is not our business. If other Nigerians say they want Buhari who are we to say No! They wanted Buhari in 2015 and we said No! What happened we were vilified and suffered alone. We cannot continue to suffer for another man's failure. If the north central who suffered from fulani herdsmen say they love Buhari, are we to go against their wish? Tufia Kwa! Kudos to my SS brothers too for doing likewise. We suffered together in 2015 and both the SW, NE, NC, NW enjoyed the spoils of our absence from national government. We were called 5% by a sectarian President bent on denigrating his opponents. Surely, Nigeria died in 2015! Kudos to our SW brethren, we don't fault you guys anymore. Despite benefiting from Buhari's government You still voted your conscience. You didn't cast your vote on one basket. Ondo, Osun and Oyo are testaments. You guys rock for teaching us your style of survival in Nigerian politics. |

Chiwude:You like most of the people on this forum missed the point. Atiku is not the person to unseat Buhari. I want to ask you, how popular is Atiku in the South East, I mean how well do the people in this region really know Atiku? How has/did Atiku touch the interest of the people of SS and SE when he was opportune to do so? What had been Atiku's track record? Was it flawless compared to Buhari? How relevant has Atiku been in our political space? As far as I can tell Atiku started reacting to the issues of this country just 4 - 5 months to elections. Hate him or Like him FFK has more relevance in the Nigerian political space for the past 4 years than Atiku. If you want to unseat Buhari bring someone that is way Better than Buhari (which you guys are capable of, but won't do so because he won't play ball), than to bring someone that is slightly better or worse than Buhari. This is what happens when your actions is based on emotions rather than common sense. |

pryme:Lol! Leave matter my brother. Even Ahmadu Bello will find it hard to unseat this Buhari. Baba is damn bad |

Chiwude:Trust me he will. Buhari is not that strong, it's the opposition that is weak. |

Chiwude:Oga your submission is not balanced. How did Igbo suffer for not voting Buhari in 2015? Are they selling fuel 87 naira in the states that voted for Buhari. Is dollar 150 naira in states that voted for Buhari. Is everyone not suffering high cost of living due to Buhari's incompetence? Is it only igbos that are feeling the pain? Meanwhile the rate of poverty in the north remains high despite the fact that they have produced several Presidents. Be reasonable pls. Igbos dont depend on government or politicians to succeed in life that's why we are fearless. Carry your fear of Buhari comot here abeg. Our trust is in God, not in Buhari or any human. |

Nwadiuto247:Buhari's lopsided appointment was what I meant. Not suffering per say. |

pryme:What you failed to note about the SE especially, was that if the devil contested against Buhari he would still win there, because majority of the SE will hesitate for a moment and some would believe the devil is a better choice than Buhari, so it was not about the political relevance of Buhari's opponent as long as the East was concerned. Atiku lost in the North because Buhari has an occult following that is religion based. No one can win Buhari in the North by majority (though the margin of victory over Atiku is inflated) as long as Islam remain the dominant religion in the North. |

pryme:Wait bros. Atiku did excellently well at the polls. Do not berate his ability to have won Buhari. In real votes Atiku got over 11million, real votes. What you see Buhari being declared to have gotten, you think its real votes by "one man one vote" Come on. It was meant to look like southerners are illiterates in politics and were unable to vote much compared to their northern counterparts who are "capable of voting with minimal voided votes" Atiku was made to win with minimal merging at his strongholds; while Buhari wins with overinflated mergine at his own strongholds... |

eodavids:You should know Buhari has never lost in his state since 2003 even when the chief rigger OBJ was on seat. You should know Buhari has a strong base in the North, unlike Atiku that is neither here nor there. I wanna ask you, if Kanu now comes and contest and election and his party wins by a landslide in the Eastern states will you call that rigging? Of course the opposition will scream its rigging, but we both know Kanu is capable of winning in a landslide because of his strong base there. Same applies here. If you want to win in elections, get local. |

pryme:In other words, you are saying "rig it at home" |
| Re: Congratulations PMB! Igbos Can't Fault Your Re-election. by pryme(m): 2:10pm On Mar 03, 2019 |
eodavids:Gbam. Even the PDP rigged rigorously in their strongholds. But voter apathy is more powerful than any rigging, this is what alot of politicians fail to see, they think their money will buy then an avalanche of votes. |

pryme:But you must admit that in the south, they always stick to the "inec stipulated rules" while in the north, they usually are like: "to hell with that big handset. Allow us vote the way we are use to or we cause riot..." Then the election officials will be like...for peace to reign...thumbprint as you want..." |
| Re: Congratulations PMB! Igbos Can't Fault Your Re-election. by pryme(m): 5:13pm On Mar 03, 2019 |
eodavids:Oh pls, In my state alone in the south south, the Governor replaced 150 names from the original INEC ad-hoc staffs that went for training on the eve of election day. For peace to reign the real ad-hoc staffs went home as long as INEC had their account numbers they were sure to get paid their allowances. If you have friends that were ad-hoc staffs in the south south, you can confirm from them. That's why most times you heard INEC staffs were stranded, that's because there was a new set of ad-hoc staffs |
