The problem I also have is that all the educated leaders we have had in the past since the country gained her independence has not taken us anywhere this is the more reason we have also decided to give an illitrate the opportunity to rule us for 8yrs.
Can you give me a reasonable infrastructure we have in the country, no electricity, no good pipe borne water in most communities, the country does not have its own Air carrier, no functional rail system, agricultural and educational sector is nothing to talk about, Secuirity issues in some states of the federation.

Most of this areas we are having issues are what the present government inherited from past administration that were occupied by the Literate as you have claimed and the present government are trying their best to fix the problems. Imagine a government in power for just four years and you want them to have fix the problem of the country that have started since 1960...Nigerians make una fear God. Though, they also have their own flaws but I still prefer the administration led by the Old Illiterate to the one led by the young Professor and his predecessors.
You don't need only educated leaders. You need educated citizens. When citizens are educated every other thing will fall in place. Did I hear you say giving an illiterate a chance since you couldn't reap any benefits from previous educated leaders? You actually deserve no response.

So you think you are educated just because of your school qualifications? Education is more about making good judgments and your mindset. The fact that you made a poor judgement by voting for Buhari actually makes you an uneducated person. Even Atiku doesn't deserve to be voted for. But he is still better than Buhari because he is more knowledgeable. The knowledge is more important before integrity. Integrity without knowledge of how to govern will make you incompetent. Knowledge without integrity can still make you discharge your duty well enough.

I doubt u truly finished school with that ur gutter statement.Knowledge is more important than integrity.so if ur mechanic knows how to fix car very well but swindles u or use inferior material, you will still carry ur empty head dia next time?hatred for Buhari has be clouded ur reasoning.the northern people r even more knowledgeable than u.mean.u don't know jack

We all have freedom to vote for whomsoever we wish to vote for, nobody should be backlashed for voting for the candidate of their choice.
So stop all these rash words about being educated or not. Mind you not everyone have the opportunity you had that made you educated.
Being educated or not doesn't make you less human.

The results the PDP had and recorded with the Parallel Voting Technology (PVT) which the party received early Sunday morning from its 176,000 agents and other international observers, is now spreading on social media.

They are sending emissaries, important Northern personalities and royal fathers to plead with him to accept the results as the 'Will of Allah'.

He has been smiling and has said nothing.

They know what has happened.

And are jittery about what will happen.
If PDP actually said this then they are criminals... how do you get a parallel voting technology or data,..when actual elections are going on,.. even in America you will never hear of this,.. if this is true,.. then they must have been hacking the card readers, Obviously this makes no sense,.. If anybody can just grab data like this,.. Utter nonsense

The result of this election will show EXACTLY
1) how this country should be divided according to the states & their choice of candidate.

2) how NEPOTISM has eaten into this country

3) how tribalism affects everything in this country! (states are voting THEIR peson; regions are voting THEIR person)

ONE Nigeria..smh

this country can ONLY work EFFECTIVELY as a CONFEDERATION called

United States of Nigeria

or

Confederation of Nigerian States

like in Belgium, switzerland, canada, etc

After results from 33 states, PDP is leading in terms of numbers of state won (PDP has won a total of 17 states) while APC is still leading in terms of total votes even after winning 16 states, which is one state less than that of PDP.

*YOBE* *STATE*
Boko Haram didn't allow our troops to patrol nor schools to open.

But they allowed INEC ad-hoc staff to move to ALL the Local Govt Areas, without SECURITY ESCORTS, distribute election materials and conduct elections, SUCCESSFULLY.

Almost 1 million people came out to vote, PEACEFULLY and SUCCESSFULLY. No single report of Boko Haram KILLINGS or herdsmen attack!

I have never seen a Nation whose system constantly promotes DISHONESTY and yet prosper.
Also in 2015 Boko Haram did not stop election in Yobe State. what can u say about that.

I never said integrity doesn't matter at all. There has to be a balance. The knowledge and integrity should both be there. But the knowledge is definitely more important because integrity can be fixed by checks and monitoring. Buhari doesn't have the knowledge and there is even no solid proof he actually has the integrity you talking about. It might all be pretense.

nymphomaniac:
and how many years since the civil war did it take them to achieve this?

Civil war? Even during their civil war they were still economically and technically advanced in the 19th century more than Nigeria two centuries after. There are no stupidly corrupt officials like we have in Nigeria. I even laugh at the amount of money by which they send some of their purported corrupt people to prison for. Look at Allison Madueke, Ibori, Akpabio, Dino, Saraki and etc. These fools have embezzled money that can feed the whole Africa comfortably.
The American justice system is still the best around the world. Their prison alone is like hotels in Nigeria. A country that respects and protect its citizens with all their might. Has Nigeria ever paid for our healthcare, our schooling, our housing when we are unemployed? Nope.. never...

Instead our youth are branded as Lazy by our government.
No plans to uplift them to discover their true Destiny and purpose. Nigerians if given opportunities will do so many great things. One day I pray that God will bring a true visionary and like minded cabinet members to lead Nigeria to greatness.

Bros. I wonder how people like you that can’t manage to speak good words without insulting others managed to have access to social media? You don’t belong here. Why insult others because their political views differ from yours? You need to be schooled on the use of words.
