You are right!!! I live in Detroit and i can tell you i wanted to run back when i first arrived. It was and still a ghost town but it is getting better. As a matter of fact i was able to get a house for just 5k and all i needed to do was renovate it. America is never what they portrayed it to be. that is not to say overall things are not better than naija o, Its better by miles but gun violence is real too. I've been robbed at gunpoint here and my car taken away , something that never happened to me all my life in Lagos.
