Rely on natural cover, rely on natural cover, stop exposing yourselves, don't stand near the mortar, if they aim the mortar, it will get to you (or words to that effect)

Natural cover is not limited to trees or big rocks or mountains. Taking advantage of the rough terrain by lying down while observing is also a natural cover because in that situation of absence of perfect natural covers, the best option is to reduce the chances of being hit by the bullet.

The mortar might be their target and once they aim at it, it might get to them. The best thing to do is to lie down flat on the rough terrain.

And if they wipe them out, where will you be? You are senseless! You seem not to understand the dynamics of the game. Are you aware of the saying "Attack is the best form of defense"? If they get wiped out then you are in soup wherever you are. For they (bokoharam) will move inland without hindrance into territories/states across the federation and attack unarmed civilians (possibly people like you) then you start running helter skelter forgetting your home. By such time, you will realise those guys have been the ones keeping the boko guys back by combatting them.

Most of you making comments didn't watch the video
He's asking them to stay away from the Armoured Vehicle because "When the BHT aim and fires at it, the shrapnel, explosion, and equipment in/on the vehicle will kill you"

And spreading to hide around natural cover, grass, floor, sand (that's why you wear camouflage) makes it difficult for the BHT to aim properly at them...

The Commander may not speak good English, but he seems to have battle experience and common sense

Good one, but its more than that. Their uniforms stand out on the road against the vehicle (APC) but in the bushes they woul;d be harder to spot. Worse still, they concentrate themselves and make easy targets. Especially beside the APC. I wonder if they had any training. I wonder why the APC has no camouflage. hmm.
