A baby was rescued after suspected Fulani herdsmen who attacked Agatu Local Government Area of Benue State recently, killed the mother and dropped her on her lifeless (mother's) body.

According to reports, the child's father who survived the gruesome attack attack is still in the hospital - recovering from injuries sustained.

It was gathered that the wife of the Benue state Governor Samuel Ortom, was the first person to reach out in a bid to help the nine days old child whom has been labelled a 'miracle baby'.

Last week, suspected Fulani herdsmen attacked Agatu LGA and killed no fewer than 16 persons.

Fulani militia herdsmen terrorists doing what they know how to do best...making children orphans and spouses widows on a higher level since 2015.

If this is not sad and painful , then what is.. Why can't this menace be tackled once and for all. This same Agatu has had countless attacks, Is it that the security agencies are folding their arms and watching this massacre on and on and on again. What happened to all their intelligence gathering.
These are fellow Nigerians. If the government can't protect them , then they have failed them. And we not speaking up too have failed them. I have a baby daughter too, so this is just saddening #Shame
