It just went up in flames actually with the crass display of lacking political sagacity in the just concluded elections that left Ndigbo with nothing to bargain with come 2023. TheYorubas have it! They supported Buhari (the North).

Want to curse you publicly, remembered its not not my personality...

Tough times show real men.. Ibos hate Buhari , they will hate his lineage and their children of the next generation will learn to hate his children of the next generation.

They have showed its not about the north, its about Buhari's personality which even the Yourbas have come in terms with..

I give it to ibos..

Igbo presidency is a dream that can never come true..
You expect the west and the north to vote for a sect that's filled with hate and envy....
Aside that ordinary obi as vice wan cause wahala na presidency you wan come talk off..
They should go and sleep
That filled with what? Hate! How does pursuit of interest turn hate? Did the Igbos ask you not to vote Buhari, how does another man's choice turn hate.

The way we define things in this part of the world surprise surprises me.

Lol. This guy has hit the nail on the head. "The Igbos should stop playing politics of emotions..."
No sane Nigerian would vote for an Igbo candidate IF the sentiments expressed by their sons and daughters online is anything to go by. The sheer amount of arrogance, ignorance, bile, hatred and downright animosity towards EVERYONE who they see as opposed to their views far outweigh any political goodwill the actions of the few rational ones could buy an Igbo presidential candidate in the near future. It's actually pathetic. The average Igbo man was hitherto known as an achiever, a go-getter. However, these new breed of online tribal touts seem to have been so effective at divisive politics of hatred and tribal bigotry that it's overshadowing the fact their elders are beginning to gradually see the need for inclusive politics as reflected in the recent presidential electoral results.
u make excess sense with this analysis

igbo cannot rule this country again. 5percent tribe. because dis election is within d north and they didnt fight or kil demselves. Bt in inyamuri state busy killing, snatching ballot box and dis led dem to reducing theirself to 4percent.

The hate towards Igbos is too much in this country.
Now they are saying we hate anything that is not Igbo. Obj, Yardua, Goodluck and Atiku. None of them are Igbos and yet Igbos voted for them.
Buhari that openly gv 85% appointment to his cronies is saint?
You hate Igbo bt want to be in the same country with them.
Re: Igbo Presidency In 2023 Dicey – APGA Chairman by Biodun556(m): 8:13am On Mar 01, 2019
If Atiku they devoted all their energy and resources to had become president, will there be Ibo president in 2023?

A presidential candidate is declared winner on two conditions:

1. He must secure the highest number of vote.

2. He must secure 25 percent of total vote cast in each of at least 24 states.

No Eastern state give Buhari any of this criteria which means they do not have interest in ibo presidency in 2023 under APC.

It's the simple truth. That's the game plan. The north is not letting go of power any time soon.

those tribalistic goons can never change, they hate everything that's not igbo and they even hate themselves, it's only amongst them that you hear some people are more igbos than others, see the case of the igbo priest that was removed because he was not from a particular locality, they are mostly Christian but hate like the devil. Now they have missed out on 2023 because of hate instead of them to play politics with sense. Always feeling the country owes them a huge debt. Anyways what do I know.. oya haters come do your work.
I laugh at yorubas ......when the time come we shall know

Some Ibo youths would tell you their tribe doesn't need the presidency, but deep down their minds it's something they are longing for. After Buhari,it will be the turn of SW to rule this country.
No shaking SW 2023!
Re: Igbo Presidency In 2023 Dicey – APGA Chairman by ItsMeAboki(m):
sarrki:
The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, Dr Victor Oye, has said going by the pattern of voting in the Saturday’s presidential poll in the South-East, the possibility of the Igbo producing the President of the country in 2023 is dicey.

The South-East geopolitical zone voted overwhelmingly for the Peoples Democratic Party in the election.

Speaking at a press conference on Thursday in Amawbia, near Awka, the Anambra State capital, Oye blamed the Igbo for always putting their “eggs in one basket.”

He said the Igbo should stop playing politics of emotions and face what he called the “reality of the country’s monolithic political structure.”

He said, “For me, I believe the Igbo play more of politics of emotion than politics of pragmatism. They are not realistic; they always pander to emotionalism.

“Everything to them is all about a particular interest. Once they make up their mind to go towards a particular direction, that is where a sizeable number of them will go.

“So, I’m not optimistic about 2023 Igbo presidency going by what has happened now.”

He said the Igbo should come together as a people to discuss their common interest.

He added, “Their common problem is unity. They cannot always come together and they are easily swayed by extraneous things as demonstrated in the last two elections of 2015 and 2019.

“Igbo should realign themselves and re-determine the options before them.

From what happened last Saturday, the Igbo people worked as a team; but in the end, they lost. They won the battle and lost the war.

“ They asserted themselves, showing they can make things happen. It shows that if they pool their resources together and work under one political party, they will make more foray.

“Ndigbo need to play at the national level and not ethnocentric regional politics, knowing that Nigeria is a monolithic political structure.”

You said it all; they pander to their emotions - which translates to tribal and religious politics with manifestation as constant insults and contempt for others - who they inevitably would later expect to be relying on their support for their candidacy.

IMPOSSICANT!

They have already laid their own bed so let them lie on it; as of now they should realise that they have Atikulated their turn to Atiku; so their next turn would come after 4 Buhari followed by 4+4 Yoruba then 4+4 Hausa = 20yrs from now.
