Despite a resounding victory in the just concluded presidential elections, the battles within the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, seem far from over as the Party's National Working Committee, NWC, has suspended Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha and Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun.

PoliticsNGR learned that both politicians have also be recommended for expulsion from the party. This development was announced on Friday afternoon in Abuja after an NWC meeting.

Okorocha and Amosun won senatorial seats in last Saturday's National assembly elections.

The suspension is coming shortly after both governors were accused of 'Anti-Party' activities following their support for Gubernatorial candidates from different parties.

we don't intimidate voters here in Southwest, if we does ni, Governor Ajimobi will not lost his reelection. Likewise, ondo state APC candidates. But i don't know the Igbo's (southeast & south south) who like to play kick and follow in any election that comes their way ...

APC is not smart. Uzodimma worked for Atiku while Okorocha fought a fierce battle to get good votes for Buhari, who then is anti-party? Well from all indication Uche Nwosu of AA is going to win governorship in Imo State.

Why won't he be suspended, when the APC state chairman was assassinated in cold blood just like that.
Greed and covetousness has eaten him deep. Automatically his Senatorial ambition is quashed because is party that wins elections,,,he belongs to no party now.

Why suspending Amosun? This is the beginning of the end of APC in Ogun state if care is not taken.
Amosun delivered during the Presidential Election, So i see no need for this suspension, they should have buried the hatchet.
APM supporters will be happy this is happening though, It is an advantage for them though.

Uzodinma did not work for Atiku. Yes I'm not sure, but it's not possible. He's a new recruit who needs to prove himself.

Ask those on ground who Uzodimma worked for. I don't think Okorocha needs APC except for Presidential election of 2023. He won his senatorial without their support and Nwosu will also win Governorship without their support.
