A Nigerian Medical Doctor has narrated the bizarre circumstances that saw his Cousin deliver a set of twins after all pregnancy tests throughout the pregnancy came back as negative, it has emerged.

The Doctor, who simply gave his name as Maxvayshia on micro blogging social networking site Twitter, said that the incident has challenged everything he learnt as a medical doctor and opened him up to believing in miracles/and or things that weren't medically explainable.

According to the alumnus of University of Benin, his Cousin visited over 14 different Consultants and Professors in different hospitals spanning across Nigeria  with no pregnancy detected. Shockingly however,  the abdomen of the woman in question enlarged progressively like that of a pregnant woman over the course of the 9 months.

He recounts that she had all the symptoms of a pregnant woman and felt pregnant, but the conflicting advice from several Obstetricians got her confused and even worried after some suggested that what she had could potentially be an abdominal tumour which needed to be investigated.

The diagnosis from the Doctors got the woman in question paranoid to the point that psychiatric evaluation was recommended, especially when by the 9th month a repeated scan was carried out on her heavily protruding stomach, and yet no pregnancy was detected, the Doctor narrated.

She opted out and continued wandering in her confusion, with encouragement from friends and family.
She recently suddenly went into Labour and was delivered of a set of female non-identical twins through vaginal delivery by a midwife who happened to be there at the time....

This challenges everything i know as a Doctor and makes me question everything again. If events of d present times and unbelievable miracles do not make you question things you already know and probe deeper in reflection in a bid to know more, then you should reassess yourself.

I'm not surprised as only one thing comes to mind after reading this: The woman must have evil people with diabolical powers after her and the Ominipotent God knew what would have happened if the scan had detected the baby. When God stretches his Mighty Hand and goes to work everything else will just fall in place!

A friend of mine called me sometime last year that she was coming to ph to have her baby and needed to stay with me. She said that she was pregnant but some weeks into the pregnancy she spotted heavily and when she went for check up the doctor told she's suffered a miscarriage.

But her pastor told her she was still pregnant... That her enemies are concealing the pregnancy, the child is a great child.... I was like wtf? I advised her to go for scan, which she did and The scan proved my suspicion, she indeed was not pregnant... She refused to believe the doctor and went on as if she was still expecting.
Then a friend of hers gave her the number of woman in port Harcourt who can take her case. She came to ph, stayed at my place, went for check up the next day and the mysterious lady told her she will be due in 2 months. Meanwhile, she claimed to be about 18 months into her pregnancy. I told something was off and asked how she was examined she said the lady massaged her stomach and told her the baby was still kicking and her case was a special one... bla... bla... Then she was billed N950,000. All my advice to her failed.
She came 2months later paid the bills and had her baby. It was a boy with no resemblance to either parent. How could she have been so gullible?
