They were raped inside the accommodations provided for them or in the opened places? INEC collected billions of naira for these elections but failed to provide accommodations for the corpers that they used. Many of these young graduates slept in opened places because INEC failed to provide accommodations for them. They were attacked, harrassed and some were killed because there was no security for them and all that INEC could do now is to blame people for their failures and send condolence messages. #Shame on INEC #Shame on the FG #Shame on SG. 1 Like |

babyfaceafrica:it is not true as you perceive. I am computer scientist and for years I have come to perceive that people just have unnecessary fear for electronic and computerization of some manual things, I can't explain in details how voting info can be securely implemented to safe and secure but it is very practical and possible. The benefit of it is just so enormous as it would save the physical violence involved in elections. Lastly, if electronics is unsafe as you claim, then how come our banking system has now depended on it for decades and it has not caused chaos as your perceived?? 2 Likes |

BUSINESSARENAA:So you expect some who rigged himself to power to sign electronic voting bill? Have you for once thought of the literary level towards technology yet you suggest electronic voting? |

asuustrike1:The literary level of technology isn't a problem as people claim. many said this same thing when phones came by. with out Illiteracy level in Nigeria. millons are able to make use of phones and ATM with little or no assistance. That aside, for me I suggest we mount cameras in all polling unit a day to the election and record every polling unit from start to finish, all ballout box should be made indestructible and unmovable by mounting them on platform strong attached to the ground. |

babyfaceafrica:Electronic isn't perfect as said but the concept of hackers doing this and that is nothing but a conspiracy theory. if hacking was just so comfortable then all our banks and bet Naija site would have beem rendered jobless. As much as hackers exist. A robust system well constructed will be able to resist penetration from the outside especially when built without api and complex interfaces. Most hacking were done by insiders of the institution and this can be easily secured using encrypted storage in hidden locations which only people without identity would work at it core. Lastly the problem of hacking is better problem because it is easier to correct by increasing security and no risk of physical death and blood letting. Also it saves time a lot and calculations and computations are done on a breeze. 1 Like |

ijustdey: Stupidity is when Buhari offered INEC military protection but the stupid INEC Chairman was trying to dance to the tune PDP who said the very corrupt Police are enough for protection not knowing that PDP plans to rape his wife? We all know that the NPF is weak and cannot confront militants, ballot snatchers. Political thugs, etc. Why then do you have to insist it is the same Police that must protect your staff, while you are there sitting in AC office? This Tampon Manhood does not deserve one day mire than the last announcement, if not that he can't be removed midway in the election. |

The rate at which we record violence in some states in nigeria, the worry and axienty that come in every election is a sign that Nigeria need a better approach to her elections. We cannot continue in this, if our people can be doing transactions of millions of naira online without fear then, it's important we implement online voting without fear, the security and ' safety of our nation and our people is more important, note on the illiteracy of our people, when the online voting is fully implemented voting education would be conducted and this will reduce violence to zero level in nigeria, not just only that online voting will bring rapid growth and development in our towns and villages interms of ITskills development, banking industries, network communication, 21st century schools and social amenities these are what online voting would contribute to our nation because our government and politicians would be more commitment to the people before the can win any office |

I thought both foreign and local stated this was the most credible election ever held in the history of Nigeria. How were they ambushed and assaulted? Thought everything was free and fair like never b4? Contradictory stories popping up everyday. The 5 mins of excitement is over nd the truth is begining to reveal itself. God, please heal the wounds of the victims.. cos to die or get assaulted over this crap called election is completely worthless... |
