Yorubas own Lagos and are accommodating igbos, therefore they are in a position to tell Igbos when and who to vote. Igbos should be grateful that the Yorubas took them in. Can the same be said of the Niger Delta? Can we say the Niger delta is accommodating Nigerians, since even Lagos was built with their oil money? Shouldn't they tell Nigerians when and who to vote, since the economy of this country is run from the resources in their land? |

mekaboy:Nice narrative. Yorubas are just been short sighted. If every region follow that their "accommodating " theory this country would be on fire. |

choice17:All mineral in the ground anywhere in Nigeria belongs to all the people Of Nigeria so says the constitution of The Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (As Amended) and The Land Use Act 1978,the Niger Delta don't need no accolades, abi na their grandpapa plant the crude for ground? Ordinary petrol chemical refinery the states in that region can't build, jointly or severely?all the major oil companies shell,mobil/exxon,total,chevron,Eni to mention all have their HQ's in Lagos State,Mumu bush people they should go and face cassava for ethanol, rubber and palm oil for foreign exchange. |

This comparison to me is irrelevant . So because New Hamsphire is the richest states in Usa, does it mean they accommodated other state like Ca, NY? |

helinues:Are the whites accommodating the blacks in America? Can the white American tell the black American who to vote? As long as they are Americans, they can vote anyone. So why will anyone tell igbos who and when to vote in lagos and claim accommodation? |
| Re: Is Niger Delta Accommodating Nigeria? by Printerscanner: 6:40am On Mar 03, 2019 |
mekaboy:Lagos has been existing before oil. If madness is not madning you, then you should know this. EU has set a date to stop use of petrol fuelled cars. China has also set date. In no time, US, the whole of Asia, North and South America and Australia will do also. Therefore when the price of oil goes to $1 per barrel and you people start hawking your oil in holdups, Lagos will still be existing but there will be no Niger Delta because hunger and diseases would have wiped you out. |

mekaboy:This is prehistoric thinking, no one said OPC was right. Besides, ganging up under one umbrella in another man's land to influence politics in that land is insulting, the Igbos need to know when to take the back seat and just observe. To start with, Lagos is not 'No Man's Land', it's Yoruba land. It's just like claiming that the Niger Delta is no man's land because you've lived there for ages and have property there, Nigeria hasn't matured to that level yet. We just want peace |

| Re: Is Niger Delta Accommodating Nigeria? by kcnwaigbo: 8:01am On Mar 03, 2019 |
Lucid1:You are sick bro.You even have the temerity to use the phrase "prehistoric thinking".Nothing could be more prehistoric than the rubbish you just spewed. The only condition upon which igbos in Lagos would stop voting will be if Nigeria is balkanised. As long as we still one country, they will continue to vote and there is nothing you can do about it |
| Re: Is Niger Delta Accommodating Nigeria? by jumobi1(m): 8:03am On Mar 03, 2019 |
Anybody saying Nigerians are accommodating Nigerians is DAFT, hateful and lacks intelligence. If you disagree with the idea that every part of Nigeria belongs to all Nigerians then form your own country and disown your relatives living abroad. |

BAT isn't a Lagosian too. Lagos is owned by the Binis, Aworis and Eguns. Those are our accommodators. |

Mumu op. Lagos generate more Igr more than Niger delta states all together. Yet this one is shouting they use their oil money to build Lagos. Was it your father that the oil money was given to develop Lagos? Oil was discovered in 1956. Here are pictures of Lagos before 1950 before Nigeria even smell what is called oil.
