Same here, mine was even 4.49 , just a 0.01 will have made a first class. But now dropped to 4.24. This is my final year and I hope to make it to first class sha.

Ended up with 3.9. 5 people had first class last last. 2 are now house wives. 2 are working as part time lecturers. Only one got a good job. A friend with connect had 2.9 he dey ministry of finance. Me dat had 3.9 i do like 10 interviews before i see job of 140k in 2011. Ur eye go soon clear

Bruh ignore all these ignorant and daft people on this thread, don't let them deter you from making a good result. A good result will take you very far in life. You can use it to get a scholarship for a post graduate program abroad and that'd be the start of a new life for you. Most good jobs today do not recruit people with less than a second class upper. Just try your very best and continue to improve.

Congrats, bro! I graduated from FUTMx few years back.

I had similar grade in my first year, then eventually graduated with a 3.95.

For Year 1, due to CBT, it's easier to have a 4.anything, however, year 2 till 5 isn't the same. Hence, you need to keep the tenacity on. Get it doubled. If you maintain this, you could graduate with a 4.5, if you so wish. Just try as much as possible to avoid too many distractions.

@ Durentt .....That's a good result!.....but most times it's always strenuous breaking a CPGA record set in first year so, buckle up, set more higher goals, and move with those you think are more better than you or had higher grades than you did in your Department.. look for them.

Sorry my field is social science. But my advice is that you try to make every semester better by working harder everyday. You'll make a result you'll be proud of

Please start learning a skill with this result .....I really don't want to see anybody make the same mistake I made while in FUT .....It was after my service that I discovered its not about the result you graduated with but what you can offer except you want to work in a bank

We all know it's a good grade thou not the best! You still have every chance to walk your way out in d next 4 yrs with a first class. But, Year 2, would be tougher, be ready,brace up!!! And it will materialise..
