The Quran clearly said men should beat their wives(Quran 4:34), whether with likes of a toothbrush(which is found in Hadith) or not is irrelevant.

There's nothing symbolic here, beating wives is morally good according to the Quran, as a Christian is this morally good?

There are some morality we're subjective about, infact in cultures and religions they have their subjective morality.

What's morally good in this tribe might morally wrong in another tribe and vice versa.

How does objective morality work among theists when they have different Gods and doctrines?
