If instead of investing in other zones, Igbos invest in only SE, the zone would not need federal allocation. Much of the IGR generated in Lagos, Kano and Kaduna is disproportionately generated by Igbos. Oil will come and go. The ingenuity of the Igbo is forever. Appreciate them.

Well, here is a little challenge for you, first the igbos are not investors they are hustlers who leaves there towns in search of a greener pasture, its not like you left your community with funds to go and invest on the contrary you come with nothing but a dream of making it.

1. Create employment opportunities
2. Pay tax
3. Develop the Society

Advanced societies lure people with special talents and gift that will help improve there economy, example Footballers, golfers, doctors and investors. Because these gifts brings money into the economy.

Igbos create business opportunities, provide jobs, build the society and pay their tax. Example... Each time Igbos travel for Christmas, economic activities nationwide is down.
If Igbos should leave, the GDP of Lagos will drop immediately, unemployment will set in. They have the highest number of SMEs in Nigeria.

You see the economy of any nation is not entirely dependent on trades alone but also investments and every tribe in Nigeria has there fair share of investors. So if every igbos decide to close their shops today and relocate elsewhere trust me it won't take long for non igbos to take over such business I mean it's no brainer to understand that businesses thrive the most where there's a enabling environment not so much about the business owners themselves take for instance the current trade way between China and America, before the trade conflict China thought that the USA will blink first simply because she gives the largest foreign debt to American but we all see who's bleeding the most now.
In truth igbos relocating to the east might cause some problems at first but in no time people will emerge to take the opportunity they left behind
