My blog www.barristerng.com has been misbehaving for days now. It takes a veey long time to load and loads half way when it eventually did.
I need a news web blog geek around Abuja to work for me on the blog.
I will also appreciate if there is anything i can do immediately to solve the problem.

Try deactivating all plugins and reload your website. If the issues doesn't come back, it was probably caused by a bad plugin. Now you need to reactivate the plugins one by one until you detect the bad one causing problems.

which caching plugin are you using?

There are several things involved. Plugin issue outdated or misconfiguration is easy to trace.
Your server could have another website using up the resources.

Your IP address could have changed.

since you are into news and entertainment. you might want to search for a lighter template. try to use template that displays properly when users visit your blog with opera mini. this is because most Nigerians use operamini to save data and your blog is not loading properly on opera mini.

first change the template to see if the speed will improve. don't use most newspaper theme because most of them are heavy and since you are using shared hosting, try use lighter theme because it will get to a stage where most bloggers will not focus on blog beauty but lighter theme that loads faster.
