Not my suggestion o lol. I'm guessing he already did that before asking us. If 50k-ish for a brand new set of coils is to much, that car is too expensive for him to maintain and he should get rid of it because if it needs coils, it's at that point where a lot more is coming.

I'm not taking about the coils. I'm saying the Aveo is notorious over there. If his coils need replacing, other stuff is close behind that will cost more.
