kwakwaso introduced free education in kano, he even went ahead to sponsoring scholarship to the outstanding a legacy you couldn't continue or even manage.

really surprised to hear this from him, at least I saw it once on NTA during his administration when he was giving scholarship to some best students in the state institutions for further study. I could remembered when he sponsored some to PhD level
