My broda, imagine losing to a team like rennes. As in how? It's a team we should beat comfortably. Now they have given themselves a difficult task for next week.
So this next week is the week you guys drop out of all competitions? My God!!!

Looks like Martial will be fit to face Arsenal.

Interesting match it will be.

Emery loses this match, he will surely lose a large proportion of Arsenal fan base, including myself.

A win against United will soothe frayed nerves and make for a healthy environment against Rennes next Thursday.

A lose, and Emery out banner will be out in full force! Hostile home environment against the team when Rennes comes visiting, possible eviction from Europa and things could spiral out of control.

Overmars is an ex Arsenal man, and he is currently doing well at Ajax, maybe we should start looking in that direction.

And I hope Ozil fans stay off Emery back for the rest of the season.
Ozil started yesterday, and for a supposedly Star man, he was not outstanding against a low ranked French team.
Any Arsenal fan that thinks we should retain Ozil on his current 350k salary, in exchange for his insipid and inconsistent displays, inaddition to freak injuries, is not really an Arsenal fan, but an Ozil fan.

why ppl for this thread no wise sef. So we just win psg for winning sake abi. one team will win the ucl and its the best team. Since you know we will not win it, tell us who will win.

i weak
Congrats for qualifying for the QF, but PSG only needed the right mentality to avoid being beaten. They were the better side but probably underrated United which has been their problem in recent years. A problem of poor mental preparedness caused by the kind of league they find themselves. The competitiveness of the PL makes English teams hard to beat despite their poor displays.

United winning this year's CL would be a great miracle. They would easily get knocked out by a rugged team like Porto, all the same enjoy the show.

That said, the point really is that for United finishing fourth would be by miles the easier route to playing CL next season. Especially when you compare that to Arsenal winning the Europa. Hence the assertion that more pressure would be on United when they play Arsenal on Sunday.

..
...On a normal day, Emery would have pulled off Ozil at half-time but he left him on intentionally just to prove a point....

.... Anyway, things are surely going to change this summer whether we beat man United or not this Sunday....the news is that Monchi is leaving Roma today or something and he will certainly be employed by Arsenal soonest...He has a track record of selling players for good prices...his first priority will be to get Ozil off the wage bill....do that and he has my trust

..... Just look at the passion and intensity in Ramsey who is leaving the club when he came on yesterday compared to supposed world class players like Ozil and Auba....

Normally i would ignore but this one was too good to pass up. grin grin

Look at that Sars houseboy forming Saint Peter telling us how he doesn't insult and complaining of how United fans are the ones who go about starting insults. Someone that goes around insulting people on other threads. Lol. The irony.

The ìdiot has clearly forgotten how last year, he jumped on my mentions(on the United thread) out of nowhere with insults in a back and forth i was having with Kokaneprodigy. An argument that had nothing to do with him in the first place.

Bloody hypocrite.

Some of these Arsenal fans will go about on other threads trolling and insulting other people but when we come here to do the same they start nagging like insecure housewives.

If the insults/trolling dey pain you, you can bang ur head on the floor in agony. E no concern me.

More pain to ur miserable life motherfucker. grin grin

I swear,Aubameyang is overhyped.

A striker that can't take on his man and dribble through defenders is no striker.

He can't dribble, his passing is poor and worst still, his conversion rate in front of goal is pathetic.
Clearly not worth his weekly wages.

I would rather we got rid of him and got a winger. Chukwueze,Cengiz under, Pepe, etc are out there.

The less said about Ozil, the better .

By the way, what's the deal with Dennis Suarez. Why did we get him on loan , if he isn't good enough to start games?

......He is fast so staying off the shoulder of the last defender shouldn't be a problem yet he falls for the offside trap time and time again..... very annoying...If we had a real striker, yesterday's match would have been long over before the red card but no, he frustrated Mkhi and Ozil yesterday, ruining attacks after attacks...
...It will not be well with Lacazette for putting us in this situation for his stupid stunt weeks ago, not that he is better anyway.

You no know ball.

That's all I can say after deleting my initial comment.

He can't dribble but he scores lots of goals.

He misses chances but he has to be there first to miss them.

If you have never played football, (real football not monkey post) at least watch with some sense.

And in your narrow mindset , your opinions are superior and you know football better.

I swear, the kind of people roaming this forum are funny beings.

What's the point being there if you are going to miss them? Shouldn't this be common sense?

What lots of goals has he scored this season?

Mr man, I would advise you stick to analysing points and stop this childish uncouth behavior of throwing insults around. What exactly is wrong with you lots, if someone don't agree with your own points, if you want to quote them, then bring up better points to counter them.

By the way, not everyone has to play professional football or whatever to know the game, and you don't even know me to start with. There are many good coaches/managers who never played the game at top level, its not prerequisite to having good grasp of the game.

We all can't see the game from your own perspective, learn to deal with it.

Auba is wasteful and overhyped, that's the truth. Lacazette isn't any better too.

Arsenal lack good decisive strikers. The days of Van Persie and Henry when Big chances get converted to goals and made to count for Arsenal are gone . You don't need to be a Maradona to know this.

Common sense also tells you that you cannot score unless you are there.
The hardest job of being a striker is the ability to position oneself exactly where the ball is going to be, in other words being at the right place and right time. Converting it is another thing all together. That is why they top goal scorers despite missing a lot of chances. Even Aguero has his numerous misses. For someone to castigate Auba for missing chances despite his foal tally is being ridiculous.

Lacazette may not be as prolific or may not have the better positioning, but he has his own strengths. He can hold the ball and bring others to play, even as a lone striker.

These two will feature for any top club in Europe. Criticise them when they play badly but don't rubbish their talents just because it doesn't suit you. It's annoying.
