I use a Lexus 330, it's a V6 engine,the fuel consumption is higher compared to likes of Camry, Honda accord let alone corrola.If your check engine light is on with the VSC light,go for a comprehensive scan to ascertain the culprit when fixed your car will be fine.

The 3MZ is something of a guzzler, tbh. I don't get more than 15/16 MPG combined on my ES330.

3MZ is not really fuel friendly, and dont forget the ecu is tuned for premium fuel.

Here is what I feel, Lexus 330 is a luxurious car, and not a corolla, you expect it to be saving fuel? While doing interstate journey with it? Nothing is wrong with your lexus. It's just performing its duty!
If you feel you are spending much on fuel, wind down your glass periodically to enjoy the cool breeze!

I drive RX 330 too...Have you changed your spark plugs?I was once in that situation when stupid Kazeem fix fake spark plugs for me...It was drinking fuel like water and dragging...I had to go to briscoe to buy OEM spark plugs 39K before it came back to normal...Make sure you have original spark plugs fixed.

I know this is a very old thread but Same thing has been happening to me when a kazeem installed fake plugs for me. I've gotten the original NGK LASER IRIDIUM yesterday , I never would have thought spark plug would affect fuel consumption.

Oh yeah it does, glad you got the perfect one, its advisable to always go for OEM parts. If you live in Lagos and you want to buy original parts, you can Google motorparts arena and chat them up on WhatsApp. They are my plug and never disappoint.

Am not really a car person myself but I know the basics. A 3.3l engine cannot be compared to a 1.8l corolla in terms of anything, fuel consumption inclusive. That's why it's advisable to know some basics before buying a car, otherwise maintenance becomes an issue.

You would need to calculate your average mileage and compare to the manufacturer's before you can decide your car guzzles fuel. If you do upwards of 50km everyday, then 10k (69litres of fuel) on an rx330 isn't a bad deal. If you feel it is, then it's time to sell it and buy a corolla

Just imagine how bad Nigeria has gotten

Seven years ago, ten thousand Naira will buy sixty nine (69) litres of petrol, now it's just eight ( cool

I can tem in 2021 ,when ibused to buy 10kitres every 2days,then sapa dey but I dey manage am. Good ol days when my AC was 24/7...imagine buying 10litres with 2k..so sweet.no be now. .connecting fan directly or not has no much impact.he might have bad exhaust,bad dead spark plugs,
