Just wondering why president Muhammadu Buhari is not being referred to as Alhaji or does that mean he didn't go to mecca(saudi Arabia)

Buhari - is an honest man and not a religious man- even though many especially down south mischievously or ignorantly paint him as a religious fanatic.

I presume that most times when you have achieved some status, academic, financial, political, and even spiritual, people forget the titles, your name in itself becomes an insignia....so you mention buhari, atiku, obasanjo, elumelu, dangote, otedola, adeboye.etc most times without the title.
