You guys really amaze me. Do you really know why [s]Buhari CANNOT hound Obj and Jonathan? They have a dossier on him wrt PTF, 53 suitcases, etc. All the noise about $16b power project have ended with elections.

Buhari is a confirmed THIEF! Else what relation has a man of integrity with Tinubu, Amaechi, Akpabio, Orji Uzor Kanu, Goje, Wamako, etc. These are known thieves with EFCC or CCT cases, Tell me any case Atiku has!

Buhari and APC have spent 4 years depreciating value in Nigeria, just masturbating on 16 years of PDP.
> They met Petrol price at N87 , but took it to N145. I hear we are going to N220 after elections.
> They met Naira at N197 and took it N360
> They met a thriving economy and revved it into recession
> They met a united nation and turn it to ethnic biased and religiously incensed country
> They said, they was no subsidy, but are paying trillion in other guises
> In 4 years, they initiated ZERO project, just commissioning what PDP started. Let us see what they will commission in second term . Nothing!
> The world of economist created the acronym BRINC (Brazil, Russia, India, Nigeria and China) as fastest growing economies in the world. Buhari and APC help them to change it to BRIC.

Who were the PDP leaders then? You need not look far.... See my second paragraph above[/s]

[quote author=Kayceenaz post=76408283]Although the presidential election has come and gone, its credibility persists as a controversy. The outcome leaves a sour taste not only in the opposition’s mouth but also that of a good number of right-thinking Nigerians, who are yet to comprehend the February 23rd abracadabra. I’m still puzzled. An underperforming administration supposedly won, unsurprisingly, alongside weighty allegations of electoral chicanery. Yet, some Nigerians seem unable to hide their limiting pessimism about Atiku Abubakar’s consideration of lawful options to seek justice. Are you one of them? Obviously, this stance is taken with amnesia of history being also amenable to change. That previous presidential candidates recorded no success in contesting a presidential election outcome doesn’t make such past reality a given for PDP’s presidential candidate. If a day begins a story, why shouldn’t Atiku be the lead character?

Views shared by legal heavyweights Olisa Agbakoba (SAN) and Femi Falana (SAN) on Atiku’s journey of challenging the purported victory of APC’s President Muhammadu Buhari, as going to be an “uphill task” and “tough,” reflects the present popular opinion. Put differently, an Atiku and PDP victory would almost be like a camel passing through a needle’s eye. The road to there may be rough but achieving the feat is not impossible. Previously, unseating an incumbent governor from the ruling party through courts in Nigeria was an idea widely perceived as a reverie; Adams Oshiomole came into the picture and also disproved that notion. Under defunct Action Congress (AC), he sent PDP’s Oserheimen Osunbor packing through the judiciary due to “voting irregularities” on November 11, 2008. PDP was the ruling party at the time. History changed. Isn’t it ironic that Oshiomole is now the national chairman of a party that allegedly tampered with the people’s votes and subtly urges an aggrieved PDP to let sleeping dogs be? Be the judge.

Furthermore, President Buhari hitherto ran for office of president and failed thrice. Interestingly, too, an incumbent president prior to 2015 has never been unseated in Nigeria. Did President Buhari’s preceding failures hinder his success the fourth time or PDP’s track record of victory in presidential elections hinder her defeat four years ago? History changed. The seemingly unrealistic became realistic. Despite the certainty expressed by a good number of political analysts and Nigerians on the improbability of those outcomes, a situation recurring presently, the pessimists lost!

Finally, the power of incumbency easily makes the average person in this clime become blind to possibilities which disfavors the individual(s) in government. If you are, be healed!—this article says. Our Nigerian political past shows that not only is such attitude skewed but hardly affects the birth of a differing reality. Although history can somewhat be cyclical, we must recall that history also evolves and that’s what makes it interesting. Thus, Atiku Abubakar should go ahead with his plan to challenge INEC and spearhead enhancement of Nigeria’s political narrative.

1. Stop being a blatant liar, as at when buhari took over a bag of rice was 9000, where did you get your 11,500 from?. Ok I agree PDP met it at 2500 but it took them 16 years to devalue it to 9000, but it took APC less than 2 years to further devalue it to between 18000-24000.

2. It took PDP 16 years to increase fuel pump price from 11 to 87 but it took buhari less than a year to increase it to 145.

3. When buhari took over a dollar was 199 and within 2 years it when to an unimaginable high of almost 600 naira, then back to 362.
PDP met dollar at 20 in 1999 and 16 years after it was 199, then APC took over and in less than a year it is 362.

4. Oga pls try talk true for once, when pdp left cement was sold at 1400-1600 and then buharI under 1 year took it to 2600.

Pdp might not be good, but the are far better than APC.

Who then created poverty

Brother your details are absolutely wrong! May I respectfully ask you how old you were between dec. 31, 1983 & aug 1985 when Buhari was the head of state and Tunde Idiagbon his deputy. The reasons why they were overthrown by Babangida/Abacha, etc, were highhandedness and poverty in the land. That regime was characterised by many cases of soldiers breaking open peoples shops, selling their essential commodities and making away with their money. Life became harsh for Nigerians. When they were removed Nigerians were happy and relieved.

Be reminded that when PDP took over in 1999, a bag of the best quality rice sold for between 4,000 and 5,500. The 2,500 that you quoted was the price of 1993 - 1995.

The pound sterling as at 1996 was at #130 - £1. At least I imported goods into the country that year and the dollar was @$1 - #60. The rate of #20 - $1 that you quoted existed between 1992 and 1993 just before the 12/06/1993 election.

My brother so also goes for other items/things that you quoted. Every Nigerian who had come of age, every Nigerian who was working or doing some form of business, every Nigerian who was handling some financial responsibility, every Nigerian who was concerned about the affairs of this country as of 1999 knows all the rates including the political leaders in the APC.

The problem sometimes that people have is blind followership. When things go wrong we must honestly admit it and hold leadership responsible. APC appealed to us all in 2015 on the grounds of morality and with evidence of looting on the part of PDP. We all saw it and booted that government out. That is the was it should be. Why is it difficult for some people to admit the truth that in this government the word "intergrity" has taken another dimension? Can you honestly say that APC is filled with incorrigible men and women? If so should I then remind you of some so called men and women of intergrity currently serving in this government but who are being protected?

The truth my friend is that this particular government had no clear cut economic plan. That's why we are still in the economic wilderness and the government still telling stories of how PDP wasted 16 years. We no longer one year to waste as far as development is concerned. Embezzelment is the very compelling reason why our politicians want to get power. If not so APC will not be in this do or die affair to hold on to power or capture PDP state.

You think about it. Our president promised to end medical tourism. Can you ever hear how much has been spent on his several visits abroad to fix his health? Why must he remain in power? If he is severely sick why won't he simply retire and go back to Daura. The only reason that can be adduced is power and the money he makes as a president. So also are other men and women across political parties. Cut off sentiments and see clearly my friend.

The day we begin to hold leadership accountable irrespective of political party, that day we begin the move out of the wilderness that Nigeria has been led into by power hungry politicians.

And PDP never an option
