The senator of Nigeria and the founder of Silverbird TV, Ben Murray Bruce has today countered Kadaria Ahmed's statement. Here is what she took to her Twitter page that he did not agree with "So don't know how we started equating a call for people to live within their means to being anti wealth. The hard truth is we have developed appetites that are not supported by our productivity. So what we need to do is recalibrate so our work supports our wants." see his reply... "The promoter of the message claimed to be so poor he had to take a loan for his nomination form. Yet his kids schooled abroad and his own personal healthcare needs are met abroad. He claimed to have 150 cows and also claimed only have about 3 houses until it later turned out he's got an estate in Abuja worth over a billion naira. If Buhari has integrity as he's been touting what stopped him from releasing his asset declaration form? greatiyk4u: You shouldn't allow your political affiliation and sentiments make you irrational. Buhari is an irredeemable liar and one of the most corrupt figures you can find in world politics. Given the money he claims to have or not to have, he should ordinarily not be able to afford the luxurious lifestyle his family members lead. Stop sounding like you have no idea how expensive it is to get an overseas education unless you actually do not know. If Buhari means well for anyone but himself and his goons, why then is he not trying to fix our educational and health systems so those who cannot afford an overseas education or health Care can get quality education and health care here? Imagine if it was a common man that had the health issues Buhari had that made him fly to his london hospital, what would have happened? With all these sentiments flying around, Nigeria can never be a good enough place for us to do anything except to be buried when we eventually die. Ben Bruce stepped down from contesting for reelection into senate this year even when his zone compelled him to recontest unopposed, he refused and guess his reason He said that when he was nominated by his people, it was agreed between his community and the other communities that make up their zone that the seat will be rotated between the communities that make up the senatorial zone and that his community took their turn and nominated him to represent them, that now it is the turn of the other community to nominate their son or daughter they deem feat, so he refused to recontest. This is what you call Man of Integrity; you stand by your words! Unlike Buhari who vowed to go for only one term as President if elected but after he got elected and he tasted looted billions of $$ from free crude oil money and he vowed never to concede or hand over to anybody until he completes 8 years in office! Mowoe: If I can afford N5million a year for my child's school fees abroad, I may be termed a rich man by all Nigerian standards. But because I can afford say N5million or N10million a year for my children's school fees (higher priority), that does not necessarily mean I can automatically cough out N27million cash to buy a nomination form.
