“We have the sinful nature in us. That is why you don’t need to be taught in a classroom to be able to lie. But when you receive forgiveness, when you accept Jesus, God puts his nature in you and the sinful nature goes away.” - Pastor Adeyemi preaching on TVC just now (summarised). My questions: 1. Is this your experience – when you become a Christian, the sinful nature was removed from you? 2. Does the Bible support the idea that when you become a Christian you lose your sinful nature? |
