Polygamy or polyandry won't change much...people will still cheat.

Thing is, once people learn they can't have everything they want...self control becomes a bit easier.

Plus, the guy is in a religion which prescribes monogamy. If he can't stick to monogamy, like many of his co-coreligionists...why pretend? He should have left ages ago. Nothing would have been stopping him

And for me as a Christian, Jesus is clear. A man leaves his parents, cleaves unto his wife. It did not say wives.

Yes, I am aware of polygamy in the bible...and all the polygamous marriages recorded in the bible had issues.

Besides....in addition to what Jesus said..generations of Christian doctrine have favored monogamy

If you can't do it...you ask God for help...or you leave and do your own thing. Life will go on. No one die.
