Tinubu knows how to build consensus, how to negotiate and renegotiate, how to forgive and warmly receive his followers who had offended him or left his group previously, etc, etc.

Lam Adesina's son, Hon. Dapo Adesina, publicly claimed that Tinubu called him on phone and invited him to work for the party; most big politicians would have considered Dapo as a "small boy", and would rather have instructed an 'aide' to make the phone call.

How many of Tinubu's peers who engaged in national politics in 1992 (he was elected Senator that year) are still relevant in politics today? Most of them have faded away!

Tinubu is definitely not a saint (very few humans beings, even religious leaders are; and NO politician is one), but he is a GREAT LEADER!!! Check his list of successful protégés...

The only reason why Seyi Makinde won in OYO was because of the incompetence and uncouthness of AJIMOBI. People voted for PDP as a protest against APC. That is all, it want cos of Godfatherism or not. Even at that, the difference was just about 150k votes

Amosun is a very strong man. I'm sure dapo, few months to his assumption, will start seeing reasons why amosun was fighting osoba and tinubu. These two old men wanted everything to themselves without any recourse to developmental agenda. No sensible governor will fold arms and watch infiltrators hijack government from him. APC has bite more than they can chew nationwide. Their downfall will be very interesting. We all thought it's only pdp that's synonymous to rigging not knowing APC is the grandmaster.

Amosun had legimate grievances but lacked wisdom. I agree with you that Dapo will face the same problems but I do hope the has the wisdom to navigate it properly

Bin Jagaban doesn't make anyone immortal. The loss in Oyo has more to do with Ajomobi's utterances and arrogance. The presidential election was competitive than the governorship election in Oyo....
