I will have a very busy schedule but i hate what they are doing to you

I like most replied you have gotten so far here.

But if will look at this quote very well is not too much on high side as some people exaggerated it.
Although few of the items are slightly on high side.

A. The size of your suckaway and septic tank will determine the cost.

1.cost of digging 2 unit of complete suckaway/ septic tank in lagos range btw 25-30 for 1unit, means 50- 60k for the 2 unit.(your quote says 50k STILL GOOD RATE.

2.Setting of block for the 2 unit will cost you around . Let say each unit is 400 block x2=800 ×50each=40,000
Your quote says 48,000 SLIGHTLY OK this will based on the size of the Suckaway/septic tank.

3.Carpenter : here in lagos for each unit it will cost about 10-15 x 2uint 20-30 ( this depends on area)

4 Iron bender same as carpenter.

5 .labour for casting both the columns, beam, and slab for the 2 unit will cost around 25-35k ( this also depends on your location bcs some labour now charge 3k for casting and bricklayer 3.5k.

Material.

CEMENT; 40 bags of cement for the 2unit means 20bags for each unit (a) settings of 400 block, floor casting, beams, columns, slab with good ratio lats say ratio 1;2;4 i will say ( your quote of 40bags is PERFECTLY OK

REINFORCEMENT, .as i said ealier .the size of the septic tanks will determine this but something 35-40 lenght of 12mm will do the beam, columns, slab of the 2 units.(note this is for regular septic tanks and suckaway)

But if you are still not ok with him you can buy your materials

@shelliz id advise you get people outside Edo state for your septic tank. Everything in Benin city is expensive even Labour. I currently have a project at Amagba and jobs from foundation to roofing has been done from people outside the Edo state.

to put the roof I paid 60k

The same dude rob me about three year back told me the roof was about 500sq
This year he came and told me my new building was about 500sq
Call Agen
Agen sent somebody to go get the measurement it was 375sq
Told him he wasn't going to rob me for the second time

to set 100 block is one bag of cement
To set 400 block let us say 5 bags

That is structural steel design.

Even though what we did on structural steel design as civil engineers is one 3 credit course if i have not forgotten but the foundational knowledge to attend that class started from 200level with Introduction to structural analysis(Civil) and Strength of materials (Mechanical) with several related courses that one would start explaining, we may even have to start from o levels.
