Slowly, the tenure of Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode's government is winding down but he seems to be winding down in style and in a unique way by completing and commissioning some major works across the state.

The Lagos State Government did the handover of the newly constructed Bariga waterfront jetty. The jetty was surprised by the Ministry of Works, after its completion, they handed it over to Lagos State Waterways Authority (LASWA). LASWA will be in charge of the running, maintenance and day to day activities of the jetties, the ferries, boats, and the management. LASWA reports back to the state government in case of an emergency, funding or repairs.

According to the state government, The Ilaje Waterfront Jetty Terminal Project is another interesting project happening in Bariga that will catapult the community into the list of fast-growing suburb on the map of Lagos, Nigeria.

The construction of the jetty started in March 2018 and so far, it has been completed and ready for use.

In the 16 years of Tinubu’s and Fashola’s governorship, how come they did not “commission” Badagry Expressway - or indeed any other expressway? Heck, it took Ambode removing some of the roundabouts and rebuilding/signalizing several junctions on the toll-scam Lekki Expressway to alleviate the bottlenecks created on that ARM (Tinubu) cash cow. SMH

See olodo. When there is competition, it brings about positive change. Instead of focusing on one party why not endorse another party so that there will be healthy competition. PDP as a party knows you have got no choice than to vote for them even when they under perform. Until you guys become wise politically before you experience progress.

Why are you living in self denial. Are you that ignorant that u can not even embrace the reality. What happened during the presidential election? What was the margin APC and PDP votes in the SW. Which party won OYO state gubernatorial election? The 5 out of 6 States declared inconclusive PDP is leading. Even if PDP do not eventually will all People have sent a clear message that Igbos are right when they rejected evil alliance called APC. So if u like call them names that won't change the truth.
